Performs construction maintenance duties such as: splices aerial/underground coaxial cable and equipment to restore cable plant to system specification; splices and activates new coaxial plant as required; repairs and/or replace damaged aerial/underground plant; and inspects, repairs and/or replaces power supplies as necessary.
Responds to damage scenarios and initiates fixes and/or communicates and arranges appropriate fix agents through collaboration with other departments such as Construction, Head End, Operations, and others to resolve complex network issues.
Performs CLI ride-out and track and repair leakage, as necessary.

Job Summary
Responsible for supporting the store team so that a best in class experience for customers can be delivered. Provides great support to customers and the store team while constantly striving for improvement. Maintains accurate inventory, clean stores, tight back of house spaces and ensures excited customers who come back to learn more. Works on straight forward tasks using established procedures.
Job Description
Core Responsibilities
Provides strong understanding and enthusiasm for technology, especially company products and services and is a go-to resource who supports the store team in the front and back of the store.
Constantly scans the sales floor to ensure counters, devices, accessories and walkways are accessible, clean and functioning and reports to leadership when exceptions are found.
Greets customers during busiest moments, ensures they are connected to a sales consultant in a timely manner and is well prepared to demonstrate company technology to new customers to ensure they know the basics and encourage them to return.
Frequently checks and inspects the back of the store for clean, secure and appropriately placed inventory. Assists with receiving inventory and properly stocking the back of house to store standards.
Helps the leadership team by conducting the weekly cycle count process and helps look for opportunities to improve the store count process.
Knows current processes and procedures and suggests improvements that enhance the customer and/or store experience.
Readily adjusts and adapts to store management priorities and direction always demonstrating professionalism and integrity.
Must be able to carry and lift up to 25 pound boxes, stand and move about the store constantly.
Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Compensation
Base Pay: $15.00

About the Role: As a Kinetic Buried Drop Technician working on the buried drop team, you will perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber, and coaxial cable from the network hub to the customers' residence. Our team of Buried Drop Technicians care about technology and connecting customers to products they value. This is a safety sensitive position.
What You'll Do:
Perform the physical installation of buried copper, fiber & coaxial drop cable to connect Uniti's network to the customers' residence.
Use your technical expertise and customer focus to create meaningful connections with customers.
Interpret work drawings and instructions and complete necessary paperwork.
Sell and promote Uniti products and services.
Train new employees on daily job functions.
Operate a hand-held computer for retrieving and clearing job tasks.
Operate machinery including trenching and boring equipment for burying cables.
Do You Have:
The ability to walk ½ mile + while operating following a drop plow that places service cable.
Ability to work the schedule including overtime, callouts, and standby as needed.
Basic technology and math skills.
Ability to distinguish colors present in color-coded cable.
Ability to lift and carry up to 70 pounds.
Ability to successfully complete the required training, including overnight travel out-of-state.
Ability to travel overnight, including out of state based on business needs.
A valid driver's license and safe driving record.
Ability to pass pre-employment DOT physical.
Obtain DOT certification and remain DOT certified.
