POSITION SUMMARY The requirements of an Audit Manager are similar to an Audit Senior but expand the responsibilities of supervising, working independently, and handling client contact to move toward the responsibilities of a Manager during the performance of fieldwork on auditing engagements. The Manager has a high level of technical knowledge and experience utilized for decision making. The Audit Manager is capable of accepting responsibilities for all phases of an engagement, supervising several engagements simultaneously, while providing training to less experienced staff members. An Audit Manager is expected to know and understand the reason behind the Firm's policies and procedures and to be able to function at a high level in a deadline driven, time-sensitive environment. An Audit Manager must be a CPA.
The base compensation for this position is $110,000 - $152,000 annually, DOE. This is a HYBRID role based in Austin, TX.

Education, Experience & Skills
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting or comparable 6-10 years public accounting experience.
Current and valid Certified Public Accountant license is required; must be in good standing with the state board and AICPA.
Strong knowledge of Internal Revenue Code and regulations, various tax forms and their interrelationships, return filing requirements and due dates and ability to use research software.
Ability to effectively communicate orally and in writing with clients, taxing authorities, partners and peers; ability to interface with perspective clients and to identify and pursue marketing/networking opportunities.
