Aternity CEO and leadership

Jonaki serves as CMO of Aternity and is responsible for the company’s global marketing strategy. She has over 20 years of experience building and scaling go-to-market functions across demand, brand and strategy for high growth technology companies. Prior to Aternity, Jonaki served as the CMO for Threat Stack, the VP of Global Marketing at Veracode, and held marketing and sales roles at TIAX LLC, Veritas Medicine and Kenan Systems.

Jonaki earned a bachelor’s degree from Wellesley College.

Bob Agnes is the Chief Operating Officer of Aternity and Riverbed Technology where he leads the innovation, technology, and customer experience teams. In his role, he is responsible for leading the development of Riverbed’s technology strategy and realization of the strategy through execution of the product roadmap, and continuous acceleration of our innovation to meet our customers’ requirements. He also leads the global CIO organization overseeing all IT functions.

Agnes is an established leader in business transformation, digital transformation and utilizing cloud technologies to change the way enterprises and people communicate and collaborate. Prior to joining Riverbed in 2020, Agnes held various executive leadership roles running within the technology and communication sectors, most recently at Mitel where he served as President and General Manager leading the communication and collaboration business. He was responsible for Mitel strategy, R&D, product management, global supply chain, manufacturing, sales, and global services. Previous roles include: Senior Vice President of Marketing & President of Asia for PartMiner Worldwide Inc.; Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales and Marketing for X-Rite; and various executive leadership roles at Tektronix, Inc.

Agnes holds an MBA from George Fox University and a B.S.C.S. in Software Engineering from the University of Connecticut.

Shaun Bierweiler is the Chief Revenue Officer at Aternity and Riverbed Technology where he leads the company’s Worldwide Sales, Channels and Alliances, and Sales Operations teams. In this role, he is responsible for Riverbed’s global sales, services and partner strategy focusing on the customer’s journey and their success, ensuring they receive outstanding value and performance from their technology investments. Bierweiler was previously Senior Vice President and General Manager of Public Sector at Riverbed where he led the cross-functional organization responsible for Riverbed’s largest global vertical.

Bierweiler has over 20 years of experience in the Information Technology industry, with a strong background in cloud computing, data, applications, and infrastructure solutions. Prior to joining Riverbed in 2020, Bierweiler served as President of Cloudera Government Solutions where he led the organization through its merger with Hortonworks and closely partnered with clients to address ‘big data’ challenges through optimized data access, enrichment, and empowerment with an enterprise data cloud. Prior to Cloudera, Bierweiler was President of Hortonworks Federal Inc. There he built and scaled the organization’s public sector channel program and partner ecosystem. Earlier in his career, Bierweiler held leadership positions at Red Hat and Raytheon, spanning roles across engineering, program management, business development, and corporate strategy.

Bierweiler holds an M.B.A. from the University of Maryland and B.S. in Computer Engineering from the University of Florida.

Eric Mersch is the acting Chief Financial Officer at Aternity and Riverbed Technology and is responsible for all aspects of accounting, finance, tax and treasury. Mersch has over 20 years of executive finance experience and is an equity partner at FLG Partners where he works as an Interim CFO to venture-backed SaaS and subscription companies, specializing in Strategy and Operations, Strategic Planning, Equity & Debt Fundraising, Financial Planning & Analysis, Business Intelligence, and Accounting & Control. He has worked with SaaS companies in the Big Data, Cyber-Security, Internet Infrastructure, Advertising/Marketing Technology, Mobile Application, Property Technology, & Payment Processing spaces.

Previously, Mersch served as Chief Financial Officer, Chief Accounting Officer and VP, HR for ZipRealty, a publicly-listed, real-estate technology company. In this role, he joined the management team in the dramatic turnaround and successful sale of the business to real-estate conglomerate, Realogy Holdings Corp (NYSE:RLGY) in 2014. In his first public company role, he served as Chief Financial Officer for VitalStream (NASDAQ:VSTH), a Content Distribution Network (CDN) company, providing data storage and streaming services for digital media companies. Mersch also worked at Caesars Entertainment as Director of Corporate Planning and later as VP, Finance for the Harrah’s and Flamingo Resorts, an $800 Million revenue business. Prior to his civilian career, he served in the US Navy as a submarine officer on the USS Los Angeles.

Eric holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Economics from the U.S. Naval Academy and is a graduate of the US Navy’s Nuclear Power School.

Bill Hewitt is the CEO of Aternity, and former CEO and Director of contract lifecycle management (CLM) software provider Exari.

Prior to joining Aternity, Hewitt was a partner at Beacon Equity Partners, and he has held leadership roles at Novell, PeopleSoft and IBM. Hewitt’s extensive experience in contract lifecycle management and digital technology will support LinkSquares’s strategic vision for enhanced customer-driven contract lifecycle management and AI-first insights.
