SUMMARY
Leads store operations managers and employees through positive professional conduct. Exhibits a history of professional integrity, and adherence to established policy and procedure. Demonstrates ability to organize, prioritize and balance the functions of the business as required. Values and encourages diversity, mutual respect, and teamwork. Exhibits a sense of urgency.

FLSA CLASSIFICATION: This position is classified Exempt. Wages are paid based on a 45 hour work week
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
One year certificate from college or technical school; a minimum of 3 years multi store related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Possesses demonstrated knowledge of grocery or retail store operations.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Food Safety Manager or Serv Safe certification or will be certified with the next company training and exam program. Acceptable driver's record with valid driver's license and proof of insurance. The company will order an updated MVR report annually.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.
Plans, develops, prioritizes and implements organization policies and goals.
Coordinates activities of district and stores such as operating, planning, sales, maintenance, or research and development, to effect operational efficiency and economy.
Analyzes division or department sales, expense and opportunities to identify areas in which can be maximized.
Confers with managers and reviews activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in operations.
Resolves issues and conflicts fairly, consistently and promptly.
Works effectively under pressure and is customer focused.
Trains mentors, and coaches other Employees to develop their talents and skills
Motivates self and others.
Effectively communicates with supervisors, peers, subordinates and customers.
Works and travels a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends as the business needs require.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry
Communication requirements-Ability to read, analyze, and interprets general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations. Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages multiple store managers who supervise managers and employees in their Store.
Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of these units. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws.
Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training store managers; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
