This position is responsible for optimizing the physician's practice through team work and overseeing the patient load. The incumbent is responsible for providing medical care assessing, diagnosing and rehabilitating all patients as directed by their attending physician The Athletic Trainer will work under the direction of the attending physician to ensure proper care and optimum outcomes in a cost effective manner consistent with professional standards of practice.

Responsibilities

* Aligns with the goals, strategy, policies and procedures of the department.
* Works within scope of an athletic trainer according to NATA and NBCOT guidelines.
* Coordinates the patient load of assigned provider and/or team.
* Reviews patient records, obtains patient history, reviews radiographs and performs initial physical exam.
* Documents condition, progress and assessment in patient's chart for review by the orthopaedic physician.
* Assures all documentation is kept up to date and in a professional manner, according to clinic and hospital protocols.
* Educates patients/caregivers about their diagnosis, discharge and recovery.
* Provides physical therapy treatments, prescribes exercise, and sets functional goals for the patient.
* May administer various therapeutic techniques including: electrotherapy, heat therapy and cryotherapy.
* Applies, adjusts and removes casts, splints, braces, as well as any skin, skeletal, and manual traction devices and instructs patients in their use.
* Obtains medications from Omnicell/Med cabinet and prepares medication and patient for therapeutic and diagnostic injection
* Assists in training and education of staff and lead and participate in clinical program development.
* Required to participate a predetermined number of hours each year in outreach activities including athletic event coverage, health and fitness exhibitions, presentations, and lectures.
* May obtain preoperative consents and research informed consents.
* May assist physicians in research with an emphasis on a post-operative database and follow-up with post-operative patients, as needed.
* May support the clinical and didactic education of the University's CAATE approved Athletic Training Education Program students and graduate staff and participate as an approved clinical instructor. Responsibilities may include instructional lectures as adjunct faculty within the College of Health.

Required

* One year of experience as an athletic trainer.

Licenses Required

* Current RQI Healthcare Provider eCredential through the University of Utah Health RQI system. The eCredential is to be obtained within 30 days of hire.
* Certification as an Athletic Trainer with the National Athletic Trainers Association issued by the Board of Certification for the Athletic Trainer
* Current licensure to practice as an Athletic Trainer in the State of Utah.
* Additional license requirements as determined by the hiring department.

Qualifications (Preferred)

Preferred

* Experience as an athletic trainer in an outpatient orthopaedic clinic setting.

Position Information

Calling all sports fans! Fanatics, Inc. is seeking energetic Warehouse Associates to work with our Fulfillment and Warehouse team in Aberdeen, Maryland. We are looking for customer-oriented representatives to act as a liaison for our Fans by performing system and or manual tasks to support operations to fulfill Fan orders.

Key Position Responsibilities

· Perform warehouse processes to support In-bound and Out-bound operations.

· Accurately prep, pick, and prepare shipping orders to meet shipping cutoff times.

· Process orders according to Fanatics and Regulatory standards.

· Properly prepare, stage, and document product for reverse logistics in order to keep inventory fresh and warehouse space open for new products to be introduced.

· Perform stock consolidation as necessary to improve inventory performance and accuracy.

· Participate in annual inventory count, as needed.

· Utilize fulfillment and manufacturing system to research issues and attempt to locate missing inventory before requesting a re-make.

· Field questions from the warehouse team and escalate issues and/or production timeline on all necessary items.

· Assist with appropriate cross-training and provide back-up support in other areas.

· Maintain established safety, quality, and productivity metrics in assigned department.

· Perform other related duties as assigned.

Position Qualifications/Requirements

· Must be able to lift approximately 25 lbs.

· Must be able to perform physical duties of position such as assisting in moving product from printing to packaging departments.

· Demonstrates effective communication and interpersonal skills.

· Able to operate computerized scanning equipment and PC-based inventory control programs.

· Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours per day.

· May be expected to walk up to 10 miles per day.

· Able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions with minimal supervision.

• Open shifts: 3pm-11pm starting at $18.00 - 19.00/hour.

• Performance pay increases after 90days and the 6mth period.

As a Youth Counselor you will:

• Supervise youth activities in order to observe or effect positive changes in their social behavior.
• Maintain the security of the facility and grounds.
• Observe youth behavior in response to treatment efforts.
• Participate in the treatment of the youth through observation, interaction, scoring, limit setting, and implementation of treatment plans; and assist in the development of positive peer culture.
• Maintain proper conduct and security of youth in work, recreation, and education; administer and record medication as ordered.
• Limited one-to-one counseling.
• Prepare periodic and special evaluations on assigned youth, report significant changes in social behavior, and make recommendations for changes in assignments.
• Provide crisis intervention with juveniles.
• Give basic instruction in work, recreation, and housekeeping activities.
• Communicate orally and in writing all appropriate reports and information.

Requirements
:

• High school degree or equivalent.
• It is an essential function of the job that staff be able to physically perform Emergency Safety Interventions (ESI’s).
• Preferred not required: State of Iowa class D3 chauffeur’s license and clear MVR is preferred.
