JOB SUMMARY
The Head Women's Softball Coach/Fitness Center Coordinator is responsible for administration of all aspects of the intercollegiate women's Softball program. In addition, this position has responsibility for coordinating Fitness Room operations for the college's Intercollegiate Athletics facility. The Coach/Coordinator is expected to work in cooperation with staff across the Athletics Department, other Student Services units, other areas of the college, high school personnel, and personnel from other colleges to develop and maintain a high quality intercollegiate women's Softball program, offering an excellent experience to participating student-athletes.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICIATIONS
Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited college or university.
Minimum of three years of coaching experience in women's softball at the high school or collegiate level, either as a head coach or assistant coach.
Minimum of one year of experience in instruction/teaching of softball skill development in technique and skill acquisition OR one year of experience as a middle school or high school teacher, demonstrating ability to create lesson plans and evaluate skills progression.
Ability to recruit student athletes and create an atmosphere conducive to student success in academics, personal development, and athletics.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
WOMEN'S SOFTBALL (70%)
Provide leadership for and administer all aspects of the intercollegiate Women's Softball program for 20-25 participants, including recruitment of student-athletes, budget development and management, maintenance and inventory of equipment, travel and transportation planning, and scheduling of practices and competitions.
Instruct student-athletes in individual skills, tactics/strategy, rules, and fundamentals of women's Softball at the intercollegiate level.

Coordinate scheduling of the Fitness Room for sports team's specific times.

NON-ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (5%)
Serve on various college committees.

JOB LOCATION
This position is an on-site role located in the L. Quenten Lane Gymnasium located on the main campus of Cleveland State Community College in Cleveland, Tennessee. Regular travel to athletic events at other institutions is expected, along with travel for recruitment purposes.
Travel may also be required within the college's 5-county service area including travel to attend state meetings, etc.

Job Descriptions/Duties The Family Success Network Family Coach provides direct services to families including administration of screening tools, home visiting, parent education programs, resource management and referral, concrete supports, financial literacy and family coaching. Provide ongoing supportive consultations and prevention case management services delivered either virtually or through a combination of phone calls, emails, skype, or in-person through individual meetings, including but not limited to:
Assessing and administering universal screenings, financial literacy training, and/or concrete supports.
Universal screenings will assess families for trauma, substance use, and mental health. The tools utilized may include but are limited to: the Adverse Childhood Experience (ACEs) Survey; the Child Trauma Assessment Checklist (CTAC); UNCOPE (substance abuse screening); and a mental health screening tool.
Provide short-term, intensive, in-home services:
Provide interested families a series of one to two home visits each month and access to the full array of the six pillars (family coaching, parent education, basic life skills, financial literacy, service referrals, and concrete supports) of service delivery.
Serve as a Family Coach to develop a prevention services plan, outlining the families' goals and will utilize evidence-based programming to enhance the families' protective factors and increase the family's stability.
Provide parenting programming and facilitate access to Life Skills training, as well as Family Coaching, which will incorporate Motivational Interviewing to assist the family in moving towards behavioral change.
All families engaged in Family Success Network services will work with a Family Coach who will complete the following tasks, as agreed upon by the family:
assess the strengths and needs of families
provide concrete support in times of need
develop and work with families on family success plans
provide financial literacy
utilize trainings to engage families and address identified needs, including but not limited to Triple P, Transition to Independence Process Model, Motivational Interviewing, and Strengthening Families Framework
provide services directly to families in their own homes or neutral setting
Manage an ongoing caseload of up to 30 families at one time, engaged in and receiving services.
Attend meetings amongst collaborative members.
Develop rapport with local social service partners and community resources to build and maintain a professional, responsive relationship with key community partners.
Document services consistent with requirements of OCTF Program Manager and FSN Program Manager.
Submit regular programmatic and fiscal reports to the Program Manager, as well as to other identified partners requesting data.
Actively engage with family and child serving systems, including attendance at community meetings, such as Family and Children First Council.
Represent the OCTF at any required national and local trainings and meetings.
Serve as point of contact for the county of service; and
Other duties, as assigned.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Assistant Mens Soccer Coach will report to the Head Soccer Coach (es) and will help
oversee all aspects of operating a successful Intercollegiate Men's Soccer program.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Any one position may not include all of the listed duties, nor
do all of the listed examples include all tasks which may be found in positions within this
classification)
Student-Athlete Skill Instruction:
Assist the Head Coach to teach all basic and advanced skills required in the sport of Soccer
during individual skill sessions, team practices, as well as the strength and conditioning
sessions.
Assist the Head Coach to develop and implement of sound and safe practice plans for both
individual skill sessions and team practices that successfully prepare the student-athletes with
the fundamentals in the sport of Soccer, as well as the strength and conditioning sessions.
Team and Game Preparation:
Assist the Head Coach to develop a comprehensive and strategic game plan for each
scheduled contest throughout the season. This includes, but is not limited to, the evaluation of
upcoming opponents, preparing a scouting report for the student-athletes and making
adjustments to the game plan during the contests.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Assist the Head Coach to organize and coordinate of a wide variety of administrative tasks
which include, but not limited to; team travel, meet scheduling, budget preparation, office
administration, academics (retention, graduation, GPA's, academic coaching, study tables),
compliance, facility usage, public relations, marketing, style guide, fundraising, community
engagement, fall-winter-spring summer camps and other daily operations for operating a
successful intercollegiate Soccer program.
NCCAA Rules Compliance:
Be responsible for knowledge of, and adherence to all NCCAA rules and regulations pertaining
to but not limited to recruiting, eligibility, and general operation of the program.

REQUIRED MINIMUM Qualifications
According to Ohio Christian University employment policy, all employees must possess a strong

o Bachelor's Degree
o Previous experience in athletics (event management, scheduling, media,
management of student workers, knowledge of sports and sporting events,

Qualifications
Education: Bachelors - preferred
Experience: Either has been a coach previously or played collegiate golf
Specialized Training: Proficient in teaching and coaching golf and able to evaluate talent
Work Environment, Physical Demands: Standing or sitting in one position for long periods; computer data input; multiple concurrent tasks with constant service interruptions; high level customer contact; strict confidentiality; detailed work; operating camcorder, copier, fax, University vans for team and other transportation as needed.

This position provides a variety of recovery-oriented services to clients who have self-identified as desiring peer supports, in order to promote greater independence, community integration and recovery from addiction and/or mental illness.
Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Must be certified as a Peer Specialist at time of hire or within the first 6 months. Must be a self-identified person currently or formerly receiving mental health services; or a self-identified person in recovery from substance abuse disorder.
May not currently receive clinical services at OneEighty.
If in recovery must have two years of continuous sobriety.
Must have a valid Ohio Driver License and maintain a driving record that allows the individual to be insurable with the insurance company providing OneEighty's vehicle insurance.
Must be certified in CPR and First Aid or able to attain certification.
Must be trained in administering Narcan.
