Position Summary:
The Patient Experience Coordinator (PEC) ensures accurate patient intake and financial clearance processes, delivering a seamless and exceptional front-office experience while maintaining compliance, safeguarding data integrity, and supporting revenue cycle performance. Educate patients on financial responsibilities, payment options, and digital tools (e.g., patient portal) to improve transparency and engagement.

Manage clinic scheduling workflows to optimize provider availability and patient access, ensuring alignment with organizational standards.
Monitor and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs) for registration accuracy, insurance verification turnaround, and patient satisfaction.
Collaborate with Patient Experience Specialists (PES), Billing, and Clinical Operations teams to resolve complex insurance or scheduling issues and escalate as needed.
Utilize EMR systems, dashboards, and reporting tools to track patient outcomes, identify discrepancies, and support continuous improvement initiatives.
Coordinate communication of patient progress notes and plans of care to referral sources in a timely and accurate manner.
Support clinic engagement by organizing patient milestone celebrations and community-building activities in partnership with the clinical team.
Participate in ongoing training and cross-training programs to maintain proficiency in front-office operations and contribute to team flexibility.
Organizes activities (e.g., patient's goal celebrations, holiday celebrations) in coordination with the clinical team.
Provide Rehab Aide cross training on front office duties.
Qualifications:

The incumbent will work in the secondary school setting providing coverage to one of the contracted schools and perform duties otherwise specified by the Outreach manager.
Core Responsibilities and Essential Functions:
The athletic trainer is expected to perform appropriately in the following domains: 1) injury and illness
prevention and wellness promotion, 2) examination, assessment, and diagnosis, 3) immediate and
emergency care, and 4) therapeutic intervention. The athletic trainer is expected to provide evaluation of athletic and non-athletic conditions to high school aged patients, conduct appropriate therapeutic interventions for such conditions, educate sports medicine stakeholders about prevention and appropriate treatment of injuries, coordinate scheduling for Wellstar associated clinic appointments and follow ups, and document all evaluation and follow up interactions in the appropriate electronic medical recording system.
Healthcare administration and professional responsibility: Practices within local, state and national
regulations, guidelines, recommendations, and professional standards. Uses established documentation
procedures to ensure best practice. Maintain upkeep of all required documentation needed to practice as an athletic trainer in the state of GA.

Neuro Interventional Radiology

Arrhythmia (EP) Specific:
The EP Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Electrophysiologist for non-invasive and invasive procedures. The technologist must have knowledge of the X-ray equipment in use, arrhythmia monitoring, cardio structures, anatomy of the heart chambers, and sterile technique.
Vascular Interventional (VIR) Specific:
The VIR Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Interventional Radiologist for minimally invasive, image-guided vascular procedures in roles that include scrubbing, monitoring, and circulating. The technologist must have knowledge of the various imaging equipment in use including fluoroscopy, computed tomography (CT), and ultrasound.
Neuro Interventional Specific:
The Neuro Interventional Radiologic Technologist must be competent as the assistant to the Neuro Interventional Radiologist for diagnostic and interventional procedures.
