Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer with regular interaction with the board of directors and investor group, the VP, Corporate Controller will ensure the Company's financial strength and enable its profitable operation by planning, directing, and leading the financial activities of the organization to include accounting and control; audit; tax; financial information systems; payroll and corporate strategy. A key mandate will be to develop the fundamental elements of the financial organization including its team, processes, and systems as the company scales and complexity increases. The VP, Corporate Controller is expected to function as a business partner to the CFO and other leaders in the organization contributing to and evaluating ideas and initiatives designed to advance the Company's overall objectives.
Position Responsibilities:
Formulate and implement the company's accounting, financial, and payroll strategies, policies, and programs, overseeing all accounting and control, corporate finance, cash management, budgeting, tax, covenant compliance management, compliance, risk management, and audit.
Assists with sales tax (County, City, State, and Other), income tax, business license tax and property tax.
Lead M&A accounting and post-acquisition integration activities - Site consolidation, operational reporting, and tracking, IT, and accounting platform integration.
Working closely with the senior management team, provide leadership in the development and ongoing evaluation of short- and long-term strategic financial objectives. Contribute to the development and implementation of the annual business plan, including revenue, expense, and capital spending budgets.
Proactively support the company with financial information and analysis to enable and ensure quality decision-making. Develop and monitor operational metrics relating to the achievement of financial objectives.
Oversee the company's accounting and control function. Ensure that the company maintains adequate financial and non-financial controls and that it leverages modern technology solutions in the accumulation, analysis, interpretation, and distribution of financial information.
Ensure that the equity sponsor, management team, and board of directors are provided with accurate, timely and relevant financial reporting that is meaningful to running the business. Work with FP&A team to ensure that financial reporting is oriented to the specific decisions and issues each faces.
Develop and implement a framework to actively manage the balance sheet and maximize return on invested capital.
Oversee the company's treasury function including working capital and cash management.
Assists CFO in all aspects of debt covenant compliance. Monitor covenant compliance and deliver quarterly compliance reporting packages to lenders as required by agreements.
Ensure that effective internal controls are in place and ensure compliance with GAAP and applicable federal, state, and local regulatory laws and rules for financial and tax reporting.
Effectively manage the audit process and relationships with external auditors.
Direct the cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes minimum cash threshold to meet operating and capital structure needs.
Evaluate and advise on the impact of long-range planning, introduction of new programs and strategies and regulatory action.
Manage all aspects of the accounts receivable and collections process.
Pivotal Leadership, Experience & Education:
Leadership and Tenure: 15+ years of broad financial management experience as a multi-site corporate Chief Financial Officer, Vice President of Finance, or Corporate Controller. Divisional VP FINANCE or commensurate role with a business of scale will also be considered.
Functional Experience: The preferred functional emphasis is on the operational finance functions (controllership and accounting) as well as strategic finance (M&A, strategy, and FP&A etc.) as opposed to treasury and corporate finance as the latter are largely handled by PE partner. Knowledge of US GAAP and other accounting principles.
Business Experience: Experience operating in a variety of situations, such as M&A integrations, high growth, and turnarounds. Demonstrated experience acting as a finance business partner.
Small/Middle Market Experience: Brings relevant experience working with high growth middle market entrepreneurial companies.
Education: A bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or a related field.

The Clinical Assessment Specialist is a critical member of our hospital business development team, and in getting patients admitted to our acute inpatient rehabilitation hospitals quickly, so patients can receive the care and services they need. Clinical Assessment Specialists assist the field clinical liaisons with Patient Assessment completion and pull-through. This position is a great step into the business side of healthcare, and helping patients in a unique way, away from the bedside. The Clinical Assessment Specialist must have an active, unencumbered RN, PT, OT, or SLP license.
Responsibilities
As a Clinical Assessment Specialist you will:
Work with Admission Department (and/or acute care hospital personnel) to secure insurance authorization and/or coordination of benefits necessary to be admitted. Develop professional relationships with insurance case managers as appropriate.
Assess a patient's eligibility for and feasibility of rehabilitation services in consultation with the field Clinical Liaisons,Senior Clinical Liaison, or Director of Business Development. Review and analyze medical records and history that are key to a determination of suitability for rehabilitative services.
Prepare and complete a detailed preadmission assessment timely and thoroughly, which meets all regulatory requirements. Documentation will reflect critical thinking and rationale for admission inclusive of medical necessity and projective rehabilitation needs.
Participate in meetings with hospital leadership, DBD and clinical liaisons to provide market intelligence information and share strategies and results.
Support team members in the field or in the admissions office as appropriate.
Assist with insurance authorization backup as needed.
Obtain timely authorization of all patients requiring pre-certification and are accountable for conversion percentage and results.
Ensure all policies governing commercial pre-certification and authorization are followed to minimize financial risk.
Maintain relationship profile by payor for payor case managers and medical directors.
Identifie by payor their preference or use the best practice coversheet and submission portfolio to the insurance company to maximize results.

Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:

As an Engineering Forge Technician, you will work closely with engineers and other technical staff to provide support in forging process and quality. Their primary purpose is supporting the manufacturing of parts through hydraulic presses. They will work with the forging team as well as design engineering, metallurgy, quality, and other departments to implement improvements in the forge shop. In addition, they will constantly look to improve current procedures and processes.

* Develop strong relations with all operating departments and personnel to ensure that shop floor manufacturing issues are addressed. Work to get buy-in from those directly affected by manufacturing changes.
* Support capital projects in various areas of the plant.

**Responsibilities**
**As a Clinical Assessment Specialist you will:**

+ Assess a patient's eligibility for and feasibility of rehabilitation services in consultation with the field Clinical Liaisons,Senior Clinical Liaison, or Director of Business Development. The COD is also responsible for coordinating center activities, general facility management, overseeing patient flow throughout the center, and supporting the medical and therapy providers in the delivery of patient care. Daily interaction with colleagues and patients is required through hands-on center activity including patient registration, check-out and patient care.
Responsibilities
Spends 80% of their time performing patient facilitation, ensuring every patient and client is provided with exceptional experience, leads by example, and holds staff accountable to service delivery standards
Support day-to-day execution of the medical model by collaborating with and supporting clinicians to drive optimal clinical outcomes and case closure
Work with clinicians to support staff competency regarding all patient care needs
Create a professional and collaborative working environment with full colleague participation that promotes teamwork, quality, exceptional outcomes, continuous improvement, reward and recognition, and patient safety
Manage key operations metrics and holds staff accountable on Turn Around Time (TAT), Net
Patient Experience Rating (NPER), Pearl C4 and other metrics as determined by senior leadership
Work with leadership to identify gaps and implement process improvement to ensure optimal patient care
Ensure compliance with state regulations, reporting and facility/equipment meets the standards for optimal patient care
Coordinate scheduling (including patients, clinicians, and staff) with clinical leadership to ensure efficient and effective clinical support, optimal turnaround times, and exceptional patient experience
Monitor center status, provide wait time communication, perform “white board” patient management, and provide service package expectations
Coordinate and prepare material for Center Leadership Team (CLT) meetings with the goal of improving quality, patient safety, and outlier management. Ensure ongoing development to achieve the center's business plan.
Maintain and cultivate relationships with center clients and payers while responding to requests within 24 hours
Work with Director of Operations (DO), Associate Director of Operation (ADO), and CLT to manage clinical and support staffing levels and proficiencies that will optimize patient satisfaction, workflows, and efficiencies
Develop colleague success through all aspects of the talent life cycle for center staff including recruiting, hiring, onboarding, orientation, mentoring/development, engagement, retention, performance management and succession planning
Drive consistent center communication that will result in optimal patient/customer care, satisfaction, and business outcomes
Accountable for center financial drivers (NPER, TAT, Total Visits, Net Revenue) and review of key indicator reports in order achieve annual business plan
Maintain accountability for implementing and consistently maintaining center initiatives and workflows

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree preferred
Some college courses from an accredited college or university or equivalent education and experience
In lieu of higher education, the ratio is 1:1 meaning one year of college equals one year of work experience and vice versa
Job-Related Experience
Customarily has at least three or more years of work leadership or operations management experience
Prior healthcare experience and/or customer service-related experience preferred

This position is eligible to earn a base compensation rate in the state range of $80,421.56 to $106,156.45 annually depending on job-related factors as permitted by applicable law, such as level of experience, geographic location where the work is performed, and/or seniority.
