Supervising the safe and successful completion of daily warehouse activities during their shift, including:
Loadout prep
Inventory storage/control
Cutting activities
Replenishment activities
Order verification
Picking assignments
Returned inventory processing
Lead shift in completing all warehouse cleaning/maintenance tasks.
Ensure all equipment and machinery is in operational status and only operated by qualified associates.
Become certified as a DC trainer.

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous relevant warehouse experience.

Key Responsibilities

JOB SUMMARY:
The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction and optimizing warehouse processes. This role will assist in the development and execution of strategic growth initiatives in the business. This role is responsible for the daily oversight, development and performance of the warehouse staff.
SALARY RANGE: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 annually (companywide)
Pay is based on a number of factors including market location.

Qualifications
Education:
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a related field (Bachelor's Degree preferred).
Experience:
At least 2 years of experience in inventory management.
At least 2 years of experience leading, coaching, and supervising a team.
Experience in union environments is a plus.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Proficiency in SAP and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Strong understanding of HSE and safety standards, warehouse procedures, and 6S principles.
Knowledge of Lean/Six Sigma methodologies and forklift operation/safety.

Key Accountabilities:
* Supervise physical inventories at branch location to audit, control cut-off, and facilitate completion of inventory and report generation.
* Audit and process adjustments submitted.
* Review daily, weekly, monthly inventory reports and if necessary, take appropriate corrective action.
* Participate in the financial month end close process by reviewing and ensuring accurate branch level material information is forwarded to Corporate.
* Compute cost of scrap sold numbers for branch and generate reports used to monitor scrap activity.
* Provide training and documentation on inventory control, physical inventories, and scrap management.
* Monitor the job work process to ensure that inventory is accounted for and that adjustments and/or journal entries are processed correctly.
* Review and monitor Specials Inventory reports taking appropriate action ensure inventory pounds are accurate.
* Hire, train, and coach, and manage employees to achieve optimum levels of productivity and accuracy. Conduct performance evaluations and disciplinary functions.
* This is a position that works directly on the warehouse floor on or around heavy machinery.
