Our Location : 620 Peachtree Street NE, Suite 204, Atlanta, GA 30308 ******************************* The Hours for this Position : Monday 8:50 am- 5:00 pm, Tuesday 7:50am-5:00 pm, Wednesday 8:50 am-7:00 pm, Thursday 7:50 am-5:00 pm, and Friday 7:20 am-3:00 pm. Your Mission(s) : Your two primary missions are to: Graciously, professionally and in a very friendly manner with complete accuracy receive funds from patients and/or process payments from patients for their dental services and account for those funds in the patients' ledgers Process and send insurance claims and pre-estimates for the services that patient either received or may receive. Specific responsibilities & duties : Processing payments from patients and recording them on the ledgers Processing and sending insurance claims on behalf of the patient for services performed Processing and sending insurance pre-estimates on behalf of the patient for potential services Scanning and recording any papers created as a result of the patient's visit Creating & updating patient files in Dentrix software Reprocessing/resubmitting insurance claims with photos, narratives, etc., when needed Graciously, professionally and in a very friendly manner helping patients with any questions regarding their visit Calling on claims not yet received to get the claim processed by the insurance company Other administrative and organizational duties, as assigned, associated with front office duties Required qualifications : Ability to accurately account for funds paid by a variety of payment methods (cash, check, credit, 3 rd party financing) Excellent multitasking Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent phone skills Ability to present a genuinely friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor at all times Competent computer skills required and ability to quickly learn new software Dentrix software skills are a plus. Must speak and write English fluently and clearly.
