Summary/Objective:
This position will be responsible for supporting and enhancing the sale of the SmithFoods Inc. portfolio of products through direct store communication, merchandising and stocking of products at retail locations.
This position will service stores in the Wooster, Millersburg, Coschocton, and Wadsworth areas.
Department Duties:
· Order & Stock products in specified accounts according to company standards
· Work with Sales Consultants and Customer Service Representatives in order to ensure proper product placement and continued sales growth
· Monitoring out of stocks, promotional price signs, product tags and point of sale information at the store level
· Responsible for case management including placement of new items and securing additional space when necessary
· Responsible for inventory management including back stock maintenance and product credit procedures
Requirement:
· Must be 18+ years old
· Must have a reliable form of transportation
· Must be insurable by company standard and with two or fewer incidents on motor vehicle record
· Ability to lift up to 20 pounds on a regular basis
· Ability to work in cold environments (store freezers)
· Must be able to rack (sort) product which includes lifting, bending, twisting, pulling and pushing
· Must have computer and internet accessibility with an active e-mail account
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
· Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as presentation skills
· Ability to multi-task and prioritize while maintaining a high degree of accuracy
Compensation, Days, and Hours:
· $14.50 per hour, plus mileage
· $35 per month cell phone reimbursement
. $.70 cents a mile between stores
· Approximately 8-12 hours per week
· Saturdays and Sundays as needed
· Days and hours are subject to change with customer demands
· Each store requires coverage during delivery hours
· Additional hours and days (Holidays, weekends) as required
· Routes subject to change

**Overview**
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering products and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.
**Primary Responsibilities**
+ Responsible for building and maintaining merchandising/display materials for all products
+ Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor
+ Participate in ensuring store appearance and merchandise displays are in line with plans, selling history and new receipts
+ Consults with buyers, marketing, and sellers product positioning and presentation plans
+ Responsible for placing product orders on behalf of the Sales Rep
+ Responsible for servicing local stores and refilling existing displays of products to keep company products fully stocked on the shelves
+ Create and coordinates the visual presentation of merchandise, including store layout and exhibits
+ Distribute and install refund offer, neck hangers, shelf-talkers, and price signs on products sold by the Company
+ Fill cold box and warm shelves at client account with products sold by the Company
+ Refill and re-merchandise existing displays of product sold by the Company
+ Assemble, install and fill all types of display racks
+ Pick up and deliver special orders, mail, and merchandise
+ Perform sales support functions to include the use of current point of sale marketing materials, oversight of the shelf space in the chain territory manager's accounts, consistent communication with the representative regarding changes in buyer preferences and or out of stock inventory concerns/situations encountered during weekend hours
+ Reset alcoholic beverages at the store level (e.g., rearranging products using an authorized plan within an assigned territory/set geographic region)
+ Implement authorized plan/schematic developed by the various chain headquarters, so accuracy in evaluation, application and execution on the information provided are essential skills
+ Introduce new products, reinforce established and agreed upon case volume and display activity, and monitor in-store promotion results
+ Stay abreast of business/market conditions, recognize new opportunities within each account, maintain the necessary territory records and support the sales representative's visibility and market saturation in the account
+ Build and develop the trust and confidence of the retailer through knowledge of SGWS policies and procedures coupled with a prompt, courteous resolution of inventory discrepancies

Overview
The Merchandiser II is responsible for performing merchandising activities and constructing displays of SGWS products in key retail accounts as requested by Sales Team or retail customers. This role will provide support to Sales Reps by ordering products and may be required to expedite product delivery on an emergency basis.

Responsible for building and maintaining merchandising/display materials for all products
Position merchandise and create a customer-ready selling floor

Overview
The Merchandiser I is responsible for performing merchandising activities, constructing displays, and stocking SGWS products in retail accounts as requested by sales teams or retail customers. The Merchandiser will install promotional point-of-sale materials to achieve display objectives and stock products as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
* Build displays and update pricing and special offers within an assigned territory
* Maintain positive relationships with retail customers
* Ensure all company products are properly displayed
* Install point-of-sale materials as directed
* Stock products on shelves, displays, and cold boxes as necessary
* Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications
* Must possess a reliable vehicle, a valid driver's license, and the ability to obtain and maintain auto liability insurance on their vehicle in compliance with SGWS company requirements.
* Must be at least 21 years of age

VIDEO JOB DESCRIPTION: ************************************** ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: * Read and understand plan-o-grams * Collect plan-o-grams, new item tags and new item product and prepare work area in order to complete section reset
* Break down sections in an orderly manner to allow customers to shop other sections in that aisle
* Re-position shelving and place product according to updated schematic
* Clean up work area
* Complete forms and report section completion to Kroger and immediate supervisors
