We are looking for a LIMS Associate to join our Automation team in support of clinical patient testing in our high-throughput CLIA lab. The LIMS Associate will be responsible for (1) Supporting smooth and continued operation of clinical workflows, (2) Troubleshooting, investigating, and performing corrective actions for non-conformance reports in a timely manner, (3) Developing tools, scripts, and apps to provide self-service options for non-standard functions to LIMS operators.

Responsibilities:
Support operators in resolving LIMS issues to minimize sample turnaround time
Investigate the root cause of uncommon issues and propose solutions
Triage & escalate unresolved technical issues to appropriate team members
Monitor sample queues and follow up on unresolved issues or delays
Assist in testing and documenting new LIMS workflow versions
Assist in performing LIMS code reviews, verifications, and validations
Ensure compliance to all relevant corporate and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with Biological or Computational focus (e.g. Bioinformatics)
Proficient in Python

Education and Experience
This position must have a high school diploma or equivalent, be able to pass a criminal history background check, and have a current drivers license. Ability to effectively communicate in written and verbal formats.

About This Role
Axsome Therapeutics is seeking an Associate, TMF Documentation who is responsible for supporting clinical document filing and management of Trial Master Files (TMFs). This role helps ensure TMFs are current and inspection-ready for internal and external entities.

Responsible for accuracy and integrity of the credential database.
Provide consistent, accurate, and timely credentialing support to management for the center's accreditation process.
Ensure interpretation and compliance with the appropriate accreditation regulatory agencies on any certifications the organization may decide to pursue.
Communicate with all appropriate internal parties of any existing/available incentive initiatives through Medicaid, Medicare, and Commercial Health plans.
Assist in the completion of Medicare/PECOS and Medicaid Provider Enrollment applications, monitor and follow-up as needed.
Assist in the verification of all information/documentation provided by new applicants, as well as current providers.
Provide support with the onboarding process of all new providers.
Communicate effectively to any inquiries from all departments throughout the agency regarding provider participation, credential status, and by responding in a timely manner.
Assist with the screening and distribution of reports received from contracted health plans.
Assist in the coordination of all additions, terminations, and changes to current agreement with health plans, as appropriate.
Prepare and maintain reports on all accreditation and credentialing activities as required.
Support managements effort to maintain compliance in the documentation standards for verification of all employees credentialing requirements.
Support the coordination of maintaining up to date record keeping for all providers in the various databases, i.e., ECHO and CAQH.
Provide support to management ensuring the credentialing process of the Health Center is fully compliant with HIPAA and Joint Commission guidelines.
Comply with the timely completion of all trainings requirements set by the Health Center Administration Department.

This position has allergen warnings, potential exposure to dust, pollen, and plant pathogens, and requires daily use of provided PPE, such as masks, hair nets, beard covers, respirators, boot covers, scrubs, non-slip shoes, and Tyvek suits as necessary, has exposure to loud noises, including but not limited to air compressors, packaging equipment, and alarms, has exposure to CO2 manufacturing procedures at OSHA approved CO2 levels, requires high-stress tolerance, adaptability, and flexibility, as well as the ability to work in an ever-changing environment.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, use hands to finger or feel, reach with hands and arms. The employee is occasionally required to climb and balance, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl, and lift up to 50 lbs.
This position requires close vision, distance vision, color vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsible for assisting a Registered Nurse/patient care team in providing a variety of nutritional, clinical and transportation services and activities to promote patient comfort and satisfaction. Contributes to a positive work environment as an active team member with a commitment to learning and skill development.
Principal Accountabilities:
1. Maintaining inventory supply and stocking units according to established procedures and standards.
2. Transporting patients and equipment. Delivering records and specimens.
3. Assisting nursing and medical personnel in delegated direct/indirect patient care activities.
4. Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
Required:
1. HS Diploma or equivalent.
2. Six months of health care work experience, preferred.
3. Minimum 6 months of steady work history.
Preferred:
1. Knowledge of and familiarity with hospital equipment, supplies and procedures.
2. Ability to identify clinical and environmental emergency/urgent situations and to follow established procedures.
3. Highly effective interpersonal communication skills to interace with inter-professional staff, patients, families, visitors, and other hospital employees.
