The ISS Digital Content Team is responsible for developing creative collateral for technical training that includes e-learnings and instructor-led trainings throughout Atlantic Health System. The team develops visual content such as animation, graphics, and videos among other media for use in technical training content created using LMS Software.
The Digital Content Specialist Intern role supports the team in developing creative content and supporting technical trainings as assigned. This role would be well-suited to a creative student who is interested in leveraging interests in technology, graphic design, and designing effective learning environments to create bespoke digital learning content in a dynamic healthcare environment.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to);
* Develop and create training assets (graphics, animations, videos etc.) using Canva and Adobe Products
* Shadow instructor-led and e-learning assignments and trainings to understand how digital training tools are used to enhance technical learning in a healthcare environment
* Assist in creation and validation of training tools which support the education of system users
* Participate in Adobe Product tutorials and overviews

POSITION SUMMARY
The Medical Assistant Apprentice is responsible for providing assigned patient care duties according to the Medical Assistant Program Curriculum. The Medical Assistant Program Curriculum will start January 2026. Must attend Info Session prior to selection.
The Medical Assistant Apprentice abides by the daily and weekly assigned classroom/related technical instruction and clinical tasks in preparation for certification. Tasks may include patient interviews, collection of specimens, assist the provider with patient exams and procedures, general patient interaction, and provide patient education. The Medical Assistant Apprentice practices under the supervision of the preceptor and Ambulatory Quality Department.
This position supports organizational goals by providing quality customer service, participating in performance improvement efforts and demonstrating a commitment to team work and cooperation.
QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
LICENSE/CERTIFICATION:
BLSHCP certified within six months of hire or transfer.
EXPERIENCE: None required, experience in medical field preferred.
MISC: Required to travel to different locations for class and onsite field experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Potential for exposure to the hazards and risk of the medical office environment, blood borne pathogens, including exposure to infectious disease, hazardous substances, and potential injury. This position requires considerable reaching, stooping, kneeling, crouching, pushing, pulling, sitting, standing and walking. This position also requires long periods of telephone work. This position frequently lifts 25-50 lbs and occasionally lifts 50-100 lbs. The essential functions for this position are listed on the Assessment and Evaluation Tool.

As an intern, you will work with our clinical and nonclinical professionals and be afforded the opportunity to contribute to the care provided through medical practice operations, as well as clinical operations in the Neurology department. This role will provide insight on the importance of community outreach and how patient satisfaction plays in the overall patient experience.
Responsibilities include:
* Research and develop strategies to improve patient experiences
* Develop gap analysis for internal Neuroscience programs, to identify future needs
* Work directly with leadership on individual deadline specific projects
* Working with clinical teams on data management and data retrieval
* Develop quality metrics with Neurodiagnostic/Neurosurgical clinical team and third party vendors; while coordinating with current policies
* Collaborate with clinical teams and social workers to set up educational sessions to include CME, symposia, support groups, etc.
* Work with clinical team and medical education team to develop the Epilepsy Patient management care meeting to one that supports/provide CME credits
* Work with MEG team to retrieve data for research initiatives Develop workplace platforms and posts for outreach
* Work on updating and developing marketing materials
* Participate in any program process improvement initiatives, including report out to clinical team
