Your Job: The Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) is responsible for a variety of therapeutic and diagnostic procedures including ABG, PFT's, and various forms of ventilator support, oxygen and aerosol therapy, bronchial hygiene therapy and airway maintenance. You will be expected to be proficient with the respiratory assessment and respiratory treatment of both adults and neonates. These procedures are performed under the indirect supervision of the department's medical director, according to departmental policies and procedures. Your Job: The Cardiovascular Tech RCIS primary responsibility is to assist with technical aspects of invasive cardiovascular procedures under the direction of the supervisor and physician. Your Job Requirements: • Associate or Bachelor's degree, science emphasis or commensurate healthcare experience • Licenses and/or Certifications (Required and Preferred) • Current American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardio Life Support certification • RCIS certified within six months of date of hire • ARRT and TX RT(R) required in lieu of RCIS Your Job Responsibilities: • Assists in teaching and orientation of students and new staff. • Assists physician as a monitor tech during any procedure performed in the cath lab by interpreting basic and advanced dysrhythmia and EKG's and operating physiologic recorder, and interpreting normal and abnormal pressures and wave forms. • Assists physician with most procedures as a scrub tech and operates imaging equipment under direction of physician. • Assists physician with some diagnostic procedures as a circulator by monitoring patient status during a procedure, handing supplies to the scrub tech, and operating imaging equipment under the direction of the physician. • Assists with transport of patient to and from department. • Cleans and stocks cath lab. • Demonstrates knowledge of medications and dosages used. • Demonstrates theoretical knowledge of procedures. • Orders supplies for cath lab and demonstrates effective inventory control. • Post procedure safety removes arterial and/or venous sheath, maintains hemostasis, and monitors patient status. • Prepares lab for procedure by setting up for procedure and maintaining sterile technique. • Prepares patient for procedure by shaving and prepping patient and marking arterial pulses. • Troubleshoots equipment problems. Your direct care in the clinic and in vivo, as required by policy and contracts, will make a significant difference. Following the recovery model, you will work towards the successful discharge of each customer served. Your coordination, planning, and implementation of treatment plans will be pivotal in their journey. This role demands flexible work hours, as you will need to respond to crises with customers during assigned hours and be available for consultation after hours by phone. You will work independently and use good judgment. Fluency in computer software applications for spreadsheet and presentation development is a must. You will follow oral and written instructions and can set prioritiesthe ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing. Essential functions and responsibilities: Assists in charge to Chief of PSR for MH Clinic Operations to meet Net and Growth Targets as assigned (Full-Time minimum target of 26 hours of face-to-face services equivalent to 104 units). During the 90-day probationary period, upon being hired initially for the Case Manager I position, targets are as follows: o Week 1: Training Week o Week 2: (15 hours of face-to-face services/60 units) o Week 3: (22 hours of face-to-face services/88 units) o Week 4: (26 hours of face-to-face services/104 units). Ensures all customers have current assessments and treatment plans per regulatory requirements and that services are in line with and authorized by the assessments and treatment plans.
