What You'll Do:
Operate forklift in compliance with forklift training and safety guidelines.
Load/unload/store building materials from trailers or rail cars while minimizing damage.
Store and retrieve material (piece pick and/or bulk)
Prepare the paperwork required for distribution and shipping of products.
Performs daily inspection and maintenance of equipment.

SUMMARY:
Under direct supervision receives, stores, selects and loads products within warehouse by performing the following duties as directed by immediate supervisor or Operations Manager.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Summary:The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all BEDGEAR warehousing functions in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures. Essential Functions (includes but not limited to):
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for performing all BEDGEAR warehousing functions in a safe, professional, and efficient manner, adhering to established processes and procedures. This position requires an intermediate understanding of warehousing best practices, including physical and systematic receiving processes, maintaining appropriate stock levels for production, and accurately picking finished goods orders using warehouse management systems and RF scanners. This role ensures exceptional, uncompromising service for both internal and external customers by executing tasks swiftly, accurately, and professionally.
Key Responsibilities:
Participate in all warehousing functions while following established safety and operational procedures.
Maintain inventory safely and accurately within the warehouse.
Accurately pick all order types (B2B and B2C) according to pick tickets, ensuring 100% accuracy.
Efficiently floor load finished goods cartons on full truckloads or containers to maximize cubic space.
Perform inventory counts at required accuracy levels using current measurement techniques.
Ensure production areas maintain appropriate stock levels to prevent workflow disruptions.
Move completed work orders from production areas into finished goods inventory.
Complete receiving condition reports and validate received SKU and carton counts.
Assist in manual unloading and processing of inbound containers containing raw materials and finished goods.
Operate powered industrial trucks and other warehouse equipment are necessary to complete tasks.
Perform daily pre-operational checks on all equipment used in warehouse operations.
Label, palletize, and stage inbound and outbound materials accurately.
Utilize WMS and RF scanners to ensure systematic accuracy in all warehousing processes.

Selection and preparation of customer orders in a manner that insures complete fulfillment of each customer order.
Accurate receipt and documentation for inbound product.
Affixes pallet tags and marks materials with other identifying information upon receipt.
Conveys products and materials from receiving areas to storage or other designated areas.
Places items on racks, shelves or bins according to predetermined slot assignments.
Rotates stock to enable oldest stock to be most accessible for picking.
Reads pick tickets, pick labels (or on screen display, etc.), assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets. Loads trailers with merchandise scheduled to be shipped.
Records information as directed to track the above activities.
Performs tasks in a manner consistent with the zero errors policy of the company.
Maintains performance at or above productivity standards and service level targets established by the company.
Operates within applicable safety guidelines as per government regulations, the company's safety manuals and/or stated safety policies, and common sense.
Performs inspection of material handling equipment and maintains fluid levels to ensure continues optimal operation.
Performs work in a manner so as to prevent damage to company equipment, facilities and products.
Insures proper warehouse cleanliness is maintained at all times.
Follows up on ALL customer request and questions to ensure appropriate response is made and customer is satisfied.
Treats all customers (both internal and external) with respect, courtesy and kindness.
Upholds and complies with policies and attitudes adopted by the company.
Accepts responsibility to THINK about how own actions and actions of my associates effect our customers and our company.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and safety rules as stated in the Employee Handbook and otherwise posted or communicated.

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for the receipt and shipment of incoming and outgoing materials, supplies, and products to and from vendors. Responsibilities:
Monitors and maintains current inventory levels
Maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.
Receives goods from Receiving/Inspection, stocks items; labels shelves as necessary.
Accurately pulls parts from stock for all jobs per kit list requirements.
Kits all materials for jobs for easy delivery.
Maintains overhead stock and prepares purchasing requisition for replenishment as needed.
Compares inventories both visually and to office records, or computes figures from records, such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.
Performs weekly cycle counts.
Prepares sales order folders for production.
May operate various office machines.
Minimum Qualifications:
Associate's Degree in Business Administration, or related discipline. In lieu of a degree, equivalent work experience required.
0 - 2 years of related experience, experience in a full-service shipping environment preferred.
Must have hands on experience with both domestic and international shipping.
Physical Demands:
The role is mostly office-based but may spend some time standing and walking on the production floor.
May be required to operate a computer and/or other office devices.
Occasionally will have to lift and/or transport items weighing between 10 and 40 pounds.
Work Environment:
Predominately in a stockroom or warehouse environment with frequent exposure to the production floor and engineering lab.
While on the production floor or engineering lab, employee may be subjected to moving mechanical parts and may be required to put on precautionary, protective wear such as goggles.
Some travel may be required.
