It's actually a fun job for me as I work portable air chiseling burnt sand from parts and hand grinding off any Extra burs or metal deposits stuck to parts and inspections on any imperfections
I love the pay checks
it's a bit dusty and don't care for the repritory mask we have to wear but they keep us healthy
Good salary
Hard and dirty work environment
I love the people and I learned a lot. Over the years of working at Atlas Foundry I built amazing, lasting relationships with some great people and I was able to build a skill set that I could take with me anywhere. Atlas is a great place to work if you don't mind getting dirty.
