Works as part of a multidisciplinary OR team with support from techs and a manager/charge nurse on each shift
One week of department-specific orientation provided
RTO of 7 or fewer days must be requested up front; additional RTO will not be approved

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU position requiring at least 2 years of acute care experience and BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications.
Responsibilities
Position is in an adult Intensive Care Unit (ICU) within an acute care hospital
Unit includes 33 beds with an average daily census of 16 patients
Nurse to patient ratios are 1:2-3 for adults
Patient population includes trauma, cardiac, overdose, sepsis, post-stent, pacemaker, stroke, vascular cases, renal failure, heart failure, and respiratory distress
RNs are required to titrate a variety of drips including cardiac, insulin, and sedation
Works with respiratory therapy equipment from nasal cannula to ventilators, including CPAP, BiPAP, and high flow oxygen delivery
Use of Epic EMR system is required
12-hour night shifts are required
Weekend shifts required every other weekend
Floating is required, primarily to PCU and occasionally to MedSurg, maintaining similar ratios
Monitors are GE brand; RNs must read, interpret, and document telemetry strips under tele tech oversight
Unit support includes nurse aides (including 1:1 coverage as needed) and healthcare support techs three days per week
RNs are responsible for titrating multiple types of drips and working with advanced respiratory care equipment
Must interpret and document telemetry strips as a routine duty
Will float to PCU or MedSurg as needed, with patient assignments matching standard ratios for those units
Orientation includes one department-specific shift and a skills assessment exam
Must work a minimum of two holidays if occurring during the contract
Requests for time off must be submitted prior to acceptance and are limited to seven days for a 13-week contract
Self-scheduling is available to core staff, with travelers scheduled in accordingly; block scheduling is not guaranteed and only possible for weekends
Unit adheres to a strict artificial nail policy for direct patient care staff
First-time travelers will be considered
Duos wishing to share a schedule or car are not permitted
Requirements
Active NE or compact RN license required at time of consideration (pending licenses not accepted)
Minimum of 2 years' recent ICU nursing experience in an acute care setting
Certifications needed: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS (all current at time of consideration)
Experience with Epic EMR required
Copy of driver's license required to verify permanent address and eligibility for travel rates (must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility)
May not have been employed as full time, part time, or PRN by any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and Dignity, within the past year
Compliance with fingernail policy prohibiting artificial nails in all patient care departments
Two professional references: one supervisor from past 12 months and one peer or supervisor from past 3 years
Must pass a skills exam during orientation, receiving a score of 90% or higher

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Progressive Care Unit (PCU) night shift position requiring a NE or compact license and strong telemetry/stepdown skills.
Responsibilities
Position is in an acute care hospital setting on a 40-bed Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
Stepdown patient population including adults with cardiac, med/surg, sepsis, stroke, post stent/pacer placement, renal failure, vascular, and cancer diagnoses
Typical patient ratios are 1:4-5 with nurse aide support at a 1:12 ratio
RNs are responsible for titrating drips such as Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Expect to manage high-flow oxygen equipment and read/interpet telemetry strips
Uses Epic for electronic charting
Night shifts are 12 hours (1830-0630) with every other weekend required
Floating required to MedSurg or ICU to care for PCU-level patients
Minimum of 2 holidays required during contract
Navy blue scrubs are required
Responsibilities include managing complex cardiac, respiratory, and med/surg stepdown patients and titrating critical medication drips
Emphasis on teamwork, adaptability, communication, and patient experience metrics
Only artificial nail-free candidates may be considered due to infection control policy
Overhead and portable lift equipment available in half the rooms
Must be flexible with scheduling and willing to float as needed
Holiday and weekend coverage is required as part of the contract
All requested time off (up to 7 days) must be submitted upfront for consideration
Returning employees must not have worked at any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity location within the past year
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility, confirmed by driver's license
Requirements
Active NE or compact RN license must be in hand prior to consideration
Current certifications in BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS are required
At least 2 years of recent stepdown or telemetry experience required
Previous experience with arterial line competency and titrating drips is required
Ability to interpret telemetry strips is required
Comfortable caring for culturally diverse adult patient populations

Must provide driver's license for confirmation of residence outside 50 miles from facility
