A nine-year-old Sam Simon arrives in Detroit, Michigan on Sept 27, 1973
Since our founding in 1985, Atlas has grown through technological and operational innovation, all while maintaining our unwavering commitment to customer success.
In 2017, he was promoted to a Driver Team Lead and now works with driver relations, implementing new technology, assisting with training sessions, and working to expand Atlas Oil operations in new and emerging markets—including our new Indiana terminal.
Sam Simon is honored with the 2018 Outstanding Business Leader (OBL) Award from Northwood University
Atlas launches its Marine Services division and expands its fleet of vessels to 2 barges, a fuel flat and a Lugger Tug named Atlas Zale all in Q1 2019
