It has 1-2 main floors dedicated to castings of between 200-750 pounds gross weight. The Nobake loop has run up to 50 molds per day with a furan based system. It also has a conventional and CNC machine shop. The successful candidate must be skilled in green sand, nobake and metallurgical control and problem solving. They must be innovative in increasing production, training and motivational techniques. It is imperative they be capable of developing, designing and implementing new metrics and reports for production and process control. Computer skills, especially with Excel, are necessary. They must have excellent communication skills both with their employees and with the corporate management. In addition, they should understand all aspects of environmental testing, permitting, and reporting as well as OSHA requirements.
