The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining a clean and safe environment for residents and staff by performing cleaning duties assigned to apartments, interior and exterior common areas and amenities.
Clean public areas and resident's apartments, including bathrooms, kitchens, patios & windows, floors, furniture, and common areas.
Perform all housekeeping duties including:
Distributing laundered articles and linens
Changing beds
Cleaning public restrooms and replenishing supplies as needed
Sweeping, scrubbing, waxing, and polishing floors; cleaning rugs, carpets, upholstered furniture, and draperies
Dusting furniture and equipment
Polishing metalwork
Washing walls, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills
Performs all laundry duties, including:
Washing and drying resident laundry and textiles in provided appliances
Folding and/or hanging laundry appropriately
Distributing laundered articles and linens
Changing bed linens.
Maintain resident laundry areas, including mopping floors, washing walls, and checking lint traps regularly.
Wash windows at reasonable heights throughout the community as requested.
Keep utility and storage rooms in clean and orderly condition.
Disinfect and sanitize equipment and supplies.
Stock the cleaning cart with supplies.
Empty wastebaskets and transport trash and waste to the disposal area(s).
Work with maintenance to ensure that the trash and dumpster areas are clean.
Request maintenance work orders for any maintenance repairs needed.
Report resident issues or changes in health or living status promptly.
Reports potentially unsafe conditions or maintenance-related issues promptly to Supervisor.
May perform other duties as needed and/or assigned.

At Kelsey-Seybold Clinic, our Neurologists diagnose, treat, and manage patients with neurological disorders. They see patients in the office from 8-5pm Monday through Friday. One of the group neurologists takes call during weekday evenings and on weekends every six weeks on average. Kelsey Seybold Clinic has a 24-hour call center and after-hours registered triage nurse to assist in patient care.

Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred.
1 year experience in property management maintenance performing the duties associated with a Maintenance Technician.
Able to perform basic arithmetic skills such as measurement, addition, subtraction, multiplication and division in order to do basic calculations and analysis such as estimating, determining averages and percentages, and totals.
Able to occasionally operate general office equipment such as, but not limited to, personal computer, telephone, photocopying machine, facsimile machine and postage machine.
Able to frequently use general maintenance tools, supplies and equipment such as, but not limited to, hand tools, pressure washers, blowers, paint equipment, pool chemicals, ice removal equipment, ladders, landscaping equipment, sanders and safety equipment.

Responsibilities

Complete assigned service requests and repairs consistent with company operating and equipment/supply standards and in a safe and timely manner.

Maintain customer service standards. Respond to resident requests and work with residents to minimize/resolve problems and complaints. Follow-through to ensure issue is resolved.
Apply all applicable Atria Policies and Procedures such as, but not limited to, company operating and safety standards. Promote safe work practices among on-site staff.
Ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws, specifically Fair Housing regulations, building codes and environmental laws and regulations.
Assist with organizing and prioritizing service requests and general maintenance tasks.
May drive company vehicle from community to social and other various destinations (only if required by community).
May supervise the work of other associates and outside contractors.
May perform other duties as assigned.
