Michael H. Carrel has served on the board of Axonics Modulation Technologies, Inc. since March 4, 2019.

Mr. Carrel is President and Chief Executive Officer of AtriCure (NASDAQ: ATRC), a medical device company that provides innovative solutions for the treatment of atrial fibrillation (AFib) and related conditions. Since joining AtriCure, the company has significantly invested in groundbreaking clinical trials for the treatment of AFib, left atrial appendage management and pain management; expanded its market presence within Europe and Asia; and grown the global employee base from 200 to over 600 employees. Under his leadership, AtriCure has acquired two companies, Estech and nContact, adding leading ablation technologies to further its market position worldwide. Mr. Carrel also serves on the Board of Medical Device Manufacturers Association (MDMA).

Before joining AtriCure, Mr. Carrel was President and Chief Executive Officer of Vital Images, a publicly-traded medical imaging software company, President and CEO of Zamba Corp., a publicly-traded technology company, and Chief Financial Officer of NextNet Wireless, a privately-held provider of non-line-of-sight plug-and-play broadband wireless access systems.

Mr. Carrel holds a B.S. in Accounting from Pennsylvania State University and an M.B.A. from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Douglas 'Doug' Seith is a Regional Sales Leader at ATRICURE, INC. and Chief Operating Officer at ATRICURE, INC. and is based in Indian Rocks Beach, Florida. He has experience at Heartport Inc, A-Med Health Care, and Scimed Life Systems and has worked as Senior VP:Sales & Marketing at ATRICURE, INC. and VP:Sales at A-Med Health Care. Douglas studied at Ohio Wesleyan University between 1983 and 1987.

Angela L. Wirick, C.P.A. was appointed Chief Financial Officer in August 2020. Immediately prior to this, Ms. Wirick served as AtriCure’s Vice President, Finance for four years, where she led the global accounting and finance functions of the company and supported strategic projects. Ms. Wirick joined AtriCure in 2014 as Director, Finance, overseeing financial planning, analysis and SEC reporting. Ms. Wirick began her career in public accounting at Arthur Andersen LLP and Deloitte & Touche LLP, serving clients in a variety of industries in Cincinnati, Ohio. Ms. Wirick received her B.S.B.A. in Accounting from the University of Dayton, and is a Certified Public Accountant.
