POSTION: SPA ATTENDANT
Located on the water in Lower Manhattan, the iconic Battery Maritime Building, one of the last remaining Beaux-Arts style ferry terminals of the twentieth century, designed in 1906, was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 1976.
It is being developed into Casa Cipriani, a true private members club in the modern sense and will bring together an eclectic community who shares life's simple pleasures. The building will include Casa Cipriani luxury 47 rooms and suites hotel with private balconies overlooking the Brooklyn bridge and the Statue of Liberty.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND DUTIES
Adhere to all corporate, departmental and spa operational policies and procedures.
Prepare changing rooms and lobby lounge areas for guests and members according to housekeeping guidelines.
Maintain changing room appearance and cleanliness. Ensure that amenities are consistently stocked (robes, slippers, towels, linens, equipment, and supplies), according to standard operating procedures.
Maintain laundry room and lauder linens.
Provide support in the overall units Cleaning and Sanitation procedures.
SPECIFIC JOB KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Prior experience with changing room and laundry service in a spa, hotel, and/or salon location.
Display good organizational and verbal skills.
Establish a level of customer service to visitors, clients and staff.
Be punctual, reliable and flexible with scheduling according to business needs.
PHYSICAL QUALIFICATIONS
This position is very active and requires standing, walking, bending, and stooping all day. The employee must frequently exert up to 25 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Address guest's needs in a professional, positive and timely matter.

Through our Sharps Training, you will be able to handle and dispose of sharps in provided containers.

Responsibilities
* Ensure the safety and comfort of customers by providing every customer with the very best service on our aircraft.

* Sit in an assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat is 21" at the widest part of the seat.
* Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force.
* Hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise.
* Work in aircraft aisles and galleys, and while standing, reaching (extended in front and to the side of the body and above the head), walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and fit quickly through any exit.
* Sit or stand for long periods of time.
* Ability to reach into overhead bins and retrieve stored items.

• Assist new admissions with unpacking and labeling their clothes. Be available to help new residents find their way to the dining room, activity room, etc.
• When a resident receives clothes at any time, notify the laundry worker to make sure that all clothes are labeled.

Work in accordance with the Flight Operations Manual (FOM), FAA, ICAO Regulations and all Flight Attendant process documents
Responsible for aircraft cabin safety assurance, cabin preparation, catering, in-flight cabin service, cabin productivity and entertainment systems, post-flight duties and Commissary upkeep
Use superior judgment to ensure a safe and efficient cabin environment during all phases of flight and maintains a high level of professional conduct, decorum, and appearance
Act as the flight crew point person in the cabin in the event of an aircraft emergency and effectively coordinates the plan with fellow flight crew members
