Job Description
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Bring carts from cart shelter to cart staging area. Ensure that carts are clean, operating properly and are properly equipped with towels, pencils, score cards, tees, sand/seed mix bottles, ice water, etc. Report any repair problems to the supervisor.
Perform valet duties in the bag drop area including greeting and interacting with guests, removing golf bags from cars, and providing information, directions and/or assistance as appropriate.
Transport golf bags from the bag drop area or bag storage room and load onto assigned golf carts.
Greet golfers returning from the course, clean golf clubs, unload golf clubs from carts and assist with transporting and loading into vehicles or returning bags to the storage area as appropriate.
Return golf cars to the cart storage area. Remove towels, pencils, score cards, tees, trash, etc., from carts and save reusable items. Remove keys and wash cart with cleaner, dry cart, and park cart and connect charger cable.
Perform practice range duties including transporting range balls to each end of range and filling appropriate containers, cleaning and maintaining the tee area, repositioning bag stands or barriers, removing trash from receptacles, refilling water, operating the ball picker on the range, washing range balls, etc.
Perform other duties as appropriate.
Education/Qualifications/Certifications
High school preferred.
No experience necessary
Demonstrated quality interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to efficiently handle multiple duties under pressure with minimal supervision; work flexible hours as required including evenings/weekends.
Positive attitude, professional manner and appearance in all situations.

Work hours may include days and evenings on weekdays and weekends. Subject to inside and outside environmental conditions. May be exposed to inclement weather, potentially dangerous chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, and fertilizers, misdirected golf balls, sharp and rapid equipment movement on a daily basis. Injury may result as a result of exposure to the above if safety policies and practices are not properly followed.

General Notes
Position is located at the UT Marine Science Institute in Port Aransas, Texas.
Purpose
To assist in caring for sea turtles, marine birds, and birds of prey at the Amos Rehabilitation Keep (ARK) at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute (MSI). Responsibilities include feeding the animals, cleaning their enclosures and tanks, record keeping, and rescuing or receiving animals when necessary. Animal Attendants work directly with the ARK's Coordinator and other ARK staff to provide daily care and rehabilitation for a variety of injured or orphaned species, following established protocols and treatment plans under the supervision of the ARK Coordinator or veterinarians.
Responsibilities
Attend to daily care and rehabilitation needs for resident animals and animals brought to the ARK for rehabilitation, including taking measurements and weights as required.
Follow established protocols and treatment plans under the supervision of the ARK coordinator or veterinarians.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Prepare diets and ensure proper nutrition, adhering to specific dietary requirements.
Maintain clean and sanitary conditions in animal enclosures and rehabilitation facilities.
Perform initial physical examinations and diagnostics to determine and evaluate health condition of wildlife at the time of admission.
Assist with medical procedures and surgeries as needed.
Maintain records for all animals handled at the ARK into logs, including admittance data, general observational data, transfers, release data, and outcome. Maintain treatment files for all animals receiving care at the ARK.
Clean and maintain ARK equipment and facilities such as vehicles, pumps, filters, tanks, enclosures, scales, tools, work surfaces, etc.
Monitor and supervise daily ARK volunteer activity, provide needed tasks to volunteers, and delegate accordingly.
Communicate effectively and professionally with co-workers, management, volunteers, and the public at all times. Answer and document telephone inquiries about rescues, refer calls to supervisor as needed.
Participate in educational and outreach events and programming, and public releases as needed.
Assist with the development of outreach and social media content on ARK patients and happenings at the ARK.
Other related functions as needed.
Required qualifications
High school graduation or GED.
A year of experience in care and handling of animals in a rehabilitation or veterinary setting. Experience substitutes for the AMOUNT of experience needed. However, the KIND of experience is required.
Ability to handle and restrain wildlife safely and effectively.
Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred qualifications
Licensed Veterinary Technician (LVT), Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT), Certified Veterinary Technician (CVT) or comparable certification.
Experience capturing and caring for wild animals that are injured or abandoned, especially birds and sea turtles.
Knowledge of wildlife species native to the region and their habitats.
Experience with animal behavior observation and enrichment techniques.
Knowledge of local and federal wildlife regulations and permits.
Driving Required
This job requires a class “C” operator's driver's license. The applicant selected must provide a current three year driving record from the current state of residence. If not currently a Texas resident, a Texas driver's license must be obtained within 30 days of becoming a Texas resident. Employees who are required to have a CDL are subject to drug and alcohol testing (pre-employment, post-accident, reasonable suspicion, random, return-to-duty, and follow-up drug and alcohol testing).

Position Summary
Under direct supervision of Box Office Manager, the Box Office Attendant is responsible for ticket sales and top quality customer service for all ticketed events at the American Bank Center Complex.
This role will pay an hourly rate of $12.00 to $13.00

This position will remain open until December 31, 2025.

Responsibilities
Opens and/or closes ticket window as required.
Accurately dispenses tickets as requested by patrons; accepts payment and makes change accurately.
Maintains accurate count when selling hard tickets or accesses computer for count of computer printed tickets.
Completes daily sales reports. Keeps accurate daily balance sheet of cash received and tickets sold; balances sales and change bank and submits cash to Box Office Manager for audit.
Fills reservations for seats by mail, and handles Will-Call window according to procedures, or other related duties assigned by supervisor.
Demonstrates excellent customer service skills; responds promptly to customer needs, responds to request for service and assistance, able to work independently and handle most box office questions without assistance.
Efficiently and courteously answers questions concerning prices, seating and events. Gives information concerning upcoming events.
Files various records and reports. Performs related clerical work assigned.
Maintains confidentiality concerning upcoming events
Maintains a professional attitude and appearance.
Performs other duties as assigned by the Box Office Manager.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Education and/or Experience
High School diploma or G.E.D required and a minimum six (6) months experience in box office or guest services or equivalent combinations of education and experience.
Skills and Abilities
Excellent oral, written and interpersonal skills.
Ability to count money, make change accurately.
Ability to listen and follow instructions.
Ability to input data into a computer to record sales transaction.
Ability to work independently and as a member of the team.
Good customer service skills and sense of public relations.
Ability to work flexible hours including evening, weekends and holidays, as needed.

What will I be doing?
As a Breakfast Attendant, you would be responsible for replenishing breakfast buffet, clearing and resetting tables, and restocking/resetting buffet in Trofi Restaurant to deliver an excellent guest experience and financial profitability. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
Complete opening and closing side work to include, but not limited to, stocking chinaware, silverware and tableware, retrieving food and beverages from the kitchen and delivering them to the Trofi buffet line.
Replenish food and drink on cold lines and buffets as needed and inspect display tables
Observe and ask guests about their needs and levels of satisfaction with the food or service; describe and/or answer questions for guests about menu items, the buffet, daily specials, etc.; talk with guests in order to create a friendly atmosphere and respond to their questions about attractions or other information in the area.
Stock coffee, juice, milk machines, dry items, china, glass, silver, etc; set out chafing dishes, steam tables, heat lamps, signs and easels, centerpieces, and self-serve utensils
Bus, clear and clean tables as they become available; wash utensils, china, etc; clean up spills; remove trash; replenish guest tables and self-service stations as needed
Clean work areas and floors (sweep, mop or vacuum) for appearance and safety
