Project and maintain a positive attitude and composure. Perform all work activities in accordance with established standards, policies, laws, and regulations, including Federal Aviation Administration regulations. Respond effectively during emergency situations. Provide emergency medical assistance (e.g., performing CPR and basic first aid) to assist individuals in distress. Ability to reach a minimum of 6'3" or 76 inches when measured without shoes, from flat feet to fingertips. Sit in an assigned jumpseat with seatbelt and shoulder harness fastened without a seatbelt extension. Jumpseat is 21” at the widest part of the seat. Open emergency exits and close aircraft doors weighing up to 45 pounds and ability to push, pull, or move a beverage cart requiring approximately 32 pounds of force. Hear and respond to customer and crew communications in situations with high background noise. Work in aircraft aisles and galleys, and while standing, reaching (extended in front and to the side of the body and above the head), walking, kneeling, bending, twisting, and working in cramped or awkward positions. Walk and fit comfortably down the aircraft aisle while facing forward and fit quickly through any exit. Sit or stand for long periods of time. Ability to reach into overhead bins and retrieve stored items. Ability and willingness to work in confined spaces and manage potential allergens such as nuts, perfumes, cleaning solvents, fumes, animals, and pet dander. Serve alcoholic beverages and meals containing beef, pork and seafood. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: Greet all guests in a friendly and approachable manner. Operates a cash register and receives payment from guests in cash, gift card or comp. Accurately counts and provides change to guests as required. Delivering guest orders and condiments to the guest Bus and properly disinfect tables as quickly as possible. Sweep and maintain dining room floors. Adheres to all cash handling and comp policies and procedures. Restocks supplies and merchandise as needed throughout the shift. Identifies opportunities to upsell and influences guest's decisions through product knowledge and enthusiasm for the sale. Maintains the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follows prescribed safety regulations. Reports any maintenance or safety concerns to supervisor in a timely manner. Provide support to fellow team members through sharing of knowledge, helping to complete tasks and/or assisting in guest interactions. Demonstrates the ability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, flexible, and high-volume environment. To provide BIG Service to guests and ensure their complete satisfaction, inclusive of greeting and interacting with guests in a friendly and enthusiastic manner, anticipating and meeting guest needs and preferences, remaining calm and professional when dealing with guests that are difficult or upset. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred. Must be 18 years of age or older. Must pass all required pre-screening and background checks. Internal candidates must meet the eligibility requirements as provided in the Transfer and Promotion policy. Ability to work a variety of shifts, this includes day, swing, late-night, weekend, and holiday shifts as scheduled. Must be able to obtain and maintain a valid Kentucky gaming/racing license. Breakfast attendants oversee the setup and takedown of the breakfast buffet, as well as maintain the dining space, ensure food is available, and provide any other guest services. They help with seating, delivering food and drinks to guests, manage the buffet, and clean tables in between guests.
