ASM Global at Baxter Arena has an excellent and immediate opening for a Suite and Catering Attendant. This position maintains organization and cleanliness of suites and catering areas while assisting guests in accordance with ASM Global Universal Service Standards and applicable Operational Standards.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Pre-event suite and catering set-up including chafing dishes, plates and silverware, televisions, lighting and overall ambiance in the suite.
Verify and set-up all event orders for Suite and Catering
Identify suite or catering host and properly introduce yourself
Take and place game day food and beverage orders
Set-up and check on game day food and beverage orders and serve guests until the end of the event
Replenish food, beverages, condiments and utensils for suite and catering as needed
Maintain standard of orderliness and cleanliness of suite and catering areas throughout During Event
Obtain signatures from the suite host on charges in a timely manner
Clear all items from the suite and catering areas and clean all surfaces and chafing dishes
Reset suite for next function, complete closing functions
Check out with supervisor or manager
Qualifications
Must have good customer service skills and the ability to develop and enhance guest loyalty
Must follow all SAVOR… Omaha policies and procedures
Must be present for all major events at the Arena
Education and/or Experience
Minimum of one year experience in foodservice position required
Previous supervisory experience preferred
Must be at least 19 years of age and able to pass a credit check
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Excellent guest service skills; ability to adhere to Universal Service Standards
Ability to complete required pre-employment sanitation and alcohol service training
Knowledgeable in operating food service equipment, basic food preparatory techniques, sanitation and safety issues
Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate with staff, plan ahead and to prepare event plans simultaneously
Highly motivated, ability to take initiative, effectively work with others and work in a fast-paced environment
Physical Demands
Frequent walking for entire length of shift
Constant standing, bending, reaching and repetitive motions

Moderate to extreme exposure to noise during events
