Lead and assist with age-appropriate games, crafts, and nature-inspired activities
Supervise children to ensure safety and positive engagement at all times
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming program space
Assist with daily program setup, breakdown, and activity preparation
Communicate clearly and professionally with parents and guardians
Enforce program rules, safety guidelines, and resort policies
Represent the South Seas brand with enthusiasm and hospitality
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Experience working with children (camp, recreation, childcare, education, or similar) preferred
Energetic, positive, and engaging personality
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work outdoors and stay active throughout the day
CPR/First Aid certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
Must be at least 18 years of age
SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Fluent in English language, must be able to convey information and ideas clearly.
This position holds multiple job functions at once, a great multitasker.
Must show initiative in job performance, including anticipating what needs to be done before it becomes a necessity.
Works well in stressful, high-pressure situations - fast paced environment.
Must maintain composure and objectivity under pressure.
Must be effective at listening to, understanding, and clarifying the concerns or issues raised by coworkers and/or guests.
Teamwork is essential and critical in this role.
WORKING CONDITIONS - PHYSICAL/MENTAL REQUIREMENTS
Position requires you to be able to stand, walk, bend and stoop for prolonged periods of time. Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds.
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
Must be able work in different types of weather sometimes extreme, including high temperatures and humidity.
Must be able to work Indoor and outdoor activities, including beach-side programming
HOURS REQUIRED 40 hours per week, flexible schedule, will be required to work weekends and/or holidays.
