About the Role
Seaport Entertainment is looking for a Produce Associate to be based in the Tin Building. The Tin Building by Jean-Georges is a sprawling food emporium located inside one of New York's most historic landmarks. The Tin Building features multiple unique venues: Several full-service restaurants, fast casual, and counter dining outlets as well as 10,000 sf of retail featuring private label products, grab and go, grocery and more. Reporting directly to the Retail - General Manager, the Produce Associate ensures that both the Flower, Produce and dairy outlets are well-stocked, with attractive and full display cases, and fresh products. Additionally, we offer the following bonuses:
Referral bonus:
* $1,000 for successfully referring a new hire to the store
* This bonus to be paid out in three increments: $250 after 30 days, $250 after 60 days, and $500 after 180 days
* The referred employee be active at the time of bonus payment and in good standing
General Responsibilities:
* Assist island customers with automotive service needs
* Follow company policies and procedures
Qualifications/Experience Education:
* Valid Driver's license
* Customer service skills
* Retail experience is a plus but not required (we will train you!)
* Ability to lift/carry up to 25 pounds and operate a dolly/handcart for heavier items
* Previous customer service experience is a plus
* High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred, or equivalent experience.
