This position will be needed for 40 hours a week working a rotating shift, including weekends and holidays, providing Resource Management, Administration, Maintenance, and Park Protection duties. The primary function of this position is to provide excellent customer service as the first point of contact upon entering Paynes Prairie Preserve State Park. This position will also be used throughout the park to assist in day-to-day operations as needed as well as being involved in helping the park be successful in resource management goals. Responsible for greeting visitors at the park entrance and providing information pertaining to the park and surrounding areas, as well as any current and upcoming park activities and events; Collect fees for park entrance and annual passes; Operate a point-of-sale cash register; accurately collect, record, and reconcile revenue collected; Maintain an organized workspace; Answer phones and operate two-way radio communication system; Assist with completing various reports; Attempts to resolve visitor complaints while maintaining good public relations; Cleans facilities, restrooms, grounds, parking areas and equipment. Reporting Structure * Reports to the Director of Food & Beverage Day to Day * Maintain exceptional F&B service standards as outlined in Invited's training programs. * Greet members by name and introduce yourself to guests, always ensuring a polite and friendly demeanor. * Provide timely and attentive coverage of assigned course areas, anticipating visits to each group every 4-5 holes. * Assist members and guests with requests, such as directions to the restroom or clubhouse, and offer to dispose of trash to maintain a clean environment. * Stock the beverage cart with food, beverages, ice, and transaction supplies before service begins. * Operate the golf cart safely, following all guidelines, policies, and procedures to avoid accidents. * Collect payments (cash, member charge, etc.) and accurately reconcile daily transactions, depositing cash in the designated area. * Document product spills and waste using daily par versus usage sheets. * Maintain thorough knowledge of available products and upsell where applicable. * Use tee sheets and line-ups to identify members and guests, creating personalized experiences with their favorites. * Communicate with the F&B Director regarding special product requests or issues with food quality, supplies, or presentation. * Clean and sanitize the cart at the end of each shift, ensuring compliance with health code standards. * Request and restock supplies in a timely manner to maintain proper par levels for consistent service. * Assist fellow employees to deliver the 3-steps of service and participate as a supportive team member. * Notify management of any member/guest complaints immediately and practice effective service recovery. * Know and follow the rules of golf etiquette when approaching golf groups at all times.
