The Play Center Attendant provides a safe, fun, and nurturing environment for member and guest children while their parents pursue their fitness programs at the Health and Fitness Center. This position is a designated as "Safety Sensitive Position" under Act 593 of the State of Arkansas. An employee who is under the influence of Marijuana constitutes a threat to patients/customers which Conway Regional is responsible for in providing and supporting the delivery health care related services. This position performs the physical set up and breakdown for events and performs general maintenance of the facility and grounds. Moves, sets up, takes down and positions chairs, tables, staging or other equipment according to client specifications for special events and parties. Ability to exercise care in the use of cleaning materials for different types of building services. Ability to work with cleaning fluids, chemicals, cleaning agents or similar solutions using only normal protective equipment to maintain facilities. Ability to be work successfully in extreme hot and/or extreme cold temperatures; excessive humidity; slippery and uneven walking surfaces, excessive noise, and other extreme conditions such as noxious fumes, moving heavy machinery, etc. Perform other duties as assigned and/or required. Qualifications High school or GED, plus specialized schooling and/or on the job education in a specific skill area, e.g., lawn maintenance, irrigation, equipment operation, etc., plus 1- year related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred. Must possess a valid Arkansas Class D (Non-Commercial Vehicle) Driver's License before employment and maintain licensure for the duration of employment in this position. Must be able to work evenings and weekends as required. Knowledge of the materials, methods, and practices used in performing janitorial services. Knowledge of building maintenance principles and practices. Skill in the operation of hand tools. Ability to maintain accurate records, type and enter data accurately. Ability to effectively communicate on a one-on-one basis with others. Ability to maintain effective and harmonious working relationships with other employees, department officials and the public.
