Job Expectation: A Room Attendant is primarily responsible for maintaining clean and attractive guest rooms, hallways, and public areas in the hotel, servicing guest rooms daily in accordance with hotel procedures, stocking cart with room supplies, and replacing bed linens and replenishing guest room supplies while following company standards and safety/security procedures. Report any missing articles, damage or mechanical problems to the Senior Housekeeper and turn in articles left in the room. Coordinate with Housekeeping Supervisor on work priorities and provide assistance when needed. Education & Experience: Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred BUT NOT REQUIRED. Physical requirements: Long hours are sometimes required but an average week is 36-40 hours. Medium work - Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 20 pounds of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Parking attendants will welcome patrons and direct them to appropriate parking spots, helping to enforce the traffic and parking plan in accordance with their orientation and training. Parking attendants will welcome patrons and direct them to appropriate parking spots, helping to enforce the traffic and parking plan in accordance with their orientation and training.
