The Golf Shop Attendant will be responsible for the supervision of associates, interns, shop attendants, outside staff, and temporary associates at one of the Promontory Golf Operations. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Assist with the management, supervision, training, mentoring and directing PGA Interns, outside service personnel and shop attendants to ensure quality operations and appearance.
Provide excellent customer service, professional advice and assistance to all members and their guests.
Promote Club events and have a vast understanding of each tournament.
Responsibility for merchandise stocking and re-ordering, displays, Inventory control and the day-to-day operation of the golf shop.
Help protect and control the assets of Promontory and the golf operations.
Understand and operate the ForeTees POS/ tee-time system. Participate in periodic inventories and ensure accuracy of daily financial records/reports.
Maintain the effectiveness and cleanliness of the shop merchandising operation, outside service operations, and range facilities.
