Tioga Downs is hiring Line Attendants to work in our popular County Fair Buffet. Line Attendants are responsible for preparation and presentation of all foods on the buffet line, ensuring the efficiency of the line on a scheduled shift is completed in accordance with Company specifications and standards and cleanliness of work area.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
Provide excellent guest service while actively supporting the company culture of creating a fun and entertaining experience for internal and external guests.
Performs as a team member with Line Cooks, Dishwashers, Supervisors, Chefs, Servers, Utilities, and pertinent company Associates in producing a smoothly and efficiently run operation on a scheduled shift.
Prepare salads, dressings, canapés, and other cold dishes.
Carve meats, prepare desserts as needed.
Maintain a fully stocked and presentable Buffet Line at all times.
Maintain knowledge of what ingredients are used in the dishes in order to communicate information to guests in relation to likes, dislikes, food allergies, etc.
Solicit feedback from guests and communicate with cooks any issues, concerns, or excitement and requests.
Consistently maintain a clean and sanitary area in full accordance with State Health Regulations.
Follow recipes and other departmental control procedures.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School Diploma or GED preferred
Previous Customer Service and/or Food Service experience is a plus.
Willingness to learn and be coached
Experience working as part of a large team
A positive attitude and a genuine desire to help people is ideal!
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The Associate frequently is required to stand and walk.
The Associate is frequently required to lift up to 25 lb., and occasionally required to lift up to 50 lb.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The Buffet typically operates between the hours of 5AM-11PM, 7 days/week. Because we are a Casino, weekend availability is necessary to offer service when our guests are here.

* Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and approachable attitude.
* Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Position Summary
The Picnic Attendant will provide ultimate hospitality for guests in a fast-paced, high volume environment.
This role pays an hourly rate of $16.00-$17.00

About the Venue
Mirabito Stadium home of the Binghamton Rumble Ponies, is a premier sports and entertainment venue located in Birmingham, serving as a dynamic hub for live events, community gatherings, and large-scale productions. The stadium hosts a wide range of events including professional and amateur sporting events, concerts, festivals, and private rentals, delivering high-energy experiences for guests year-round.
Responsibilities
* Maintains knowledge of the menu and any special items being offered.
* Provides quick, attentive, friendly and professional service to picnic guests and is able to communicate clearly with all customers.
* Ensures that food items are served at proper temperature and immediately upon availability from the picnic cook.
* Ensures neat presentation of all ordered items.
* Maintains availability to work during the baseball season.
* Stocks beverage station(s) when necessary (ice, cold table, cups, plates, etc).
* Maintains high responsiveness to customer desires and requests.
* Maintains a professional and clean appearance.
* Communicates with and picnic cook when more food is needed.
Qualifications
* Experience working in a fast-paced, high volume environment preferred.
* Must have a High School Diploma, G.E.D. or related Food Service Job Experience.
* Must acquire and maintain a Food Handlers Card, Alcohol Awareness Certification, and other required compliance trainings.
* Ability to work in a team-oriented, fast-paced, event-driven environment.
* Ability to communicate with employees, co-workers, management staff and guest in a clear, business-like and respectful manner which focuses on generating a positive enthusiastic and cooperative work environment.

Our Laundry Attendants are responsible for washing, drying and folding all hotel linens and towels The position also works closely with housekeeping to ensure proper inventory levels are supplied to the floors in a timely and efficient manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following :
•Inspect dirty laundry for stains/tears before washing.
•Operate and maintain washers and dryers.
•Wash and dry all linen.
•Identify and treat stains.
•Fold all clean laundry.
•Complete linen inventory on a monthly basis.
•Ensure washing of linen is up to standard before placing into inventory.
•Stock shelves and housekeeping carts with clean folded linen.
•Multitask with linen in various machines running at the same time with different products.
•Ensure the laundry room is clean on a consistent basis.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
While performing the duties of this job, the Associate is regularly required to talk or hear. Our Hotel is open all day, every day. Laundry Attendants are typically scheduled between 9AM-8PM and schedules will vary. Because we serve Casino Guests, weekend availability is necessary.
