Civil Litigation Associate
Attorney job in New York, NY
Civil Litigation Associate - Premium Disputes Firm
Experience: 3-6 Years Salary Range: $260,000 - $420,000 + Discretionary Bonus
Think Conventional Litigation is Dead? You're Right.
We're not your typical law firm. While others chase billable hours, we solve impossible problems. While they practice law, we practice warfare-intellectual warfare that dismantles opponents and delivers victories our clients didn't think were possible.
What We Do (And Why It Matters)
High-Stakes Disputes That Matter: When Fortune 500 companies, governments, and ultra-high-net-worth individuals face their most critical legal battles, they call us. Criminal defense, regulatory enforcement, internal investigations, complex commercial litigation, class actions, judgment enforcement, asset recovery-if it's sophisticated and the stakes are astronomical, we're there.
Global Reach, Local Impact: Our cross-border teams operate seamlessly across continents. When Latin America explodes with opportunity, when Middle Eastern markets shift overnight, when China presents new challenges-we're already there, already ahead, already winning.
Who We Want (No Mediocrity Allowed)
The Non-Negotiables:
JD from ABA-approved law school (2019-2022 graduation)
Exceptional writing, drafting, and editing capabilities
Intellectual aggressiveness balanced with strategic thinking
Global mindset and cultural adaptability
The Differentiators:
Judicial clerkships and trial experience (serious advantage)
Proven ability to think beyond conventional legal solutions
Comfort with ambiguity and complex, evolving situations
Genuine passion for solving business problems through legal innovation
Why This Opportunity is Different
Real Meritocracy: Our bonus system rewards impact, not just hours. Excel at business development, bring unique solutions, build lasting client relationships-and watch your compensation reflect your contribution.
Immediate Value Creation: No document review purgatory. No "paying dues." From day one, you're solving real problems for real clients with real consequences.
Unparalleled Training: The legal products we deliver are cutting-edge because they have to be. Our training evolves constantly, keeping you ahead of market trends and legal innovations.
Career Trajectory: Our alumni lead major corporations, sit on federal benches, and run government agencies. This isn't just a job-it's a launching pad.
The Culture (Not for Everyone)
We admit it: our approach isn't traditional. We demand intellectual rigor, creative problem-solving, and the ability to collaborate across time zones and cultures. We expect you to think one step ahead, to address clients' entire problems, not just their legal issues.
What We Offer:
Non-hierarchical environment where ideas matter more than seniority
Unlimited support and resources to achieve excellence
Diverse, inclusive teams that generate breakthrough solutions
The chance to work on cases that reshape industries and jurisdictions
What We Expect:
Intellectual curiosity that drives constant learning
Ability to balance civility with aggressive advocacy

The Work (Prepare to Be Challenged)
Every case is unique. Every client presents novel challenges. You'll handle disputes involving cutting-edge technology, complex financial instruments, international regulatory frameworks, and business models that didn't exist five years ago.
You'll work with teams that include former prosecutors, ex-government officials, industry specialists, and cultural experts. You'll argue in courts across multiple jurisdictions, negotiate with regulators in different countries, and develop strategies that account for political, economic, and legal variables most lawyers never consider.
Application Process (Straightforward, No Games)
We read every application carefully. We make decisions based on merit, potential, and fit. Come prepared with a clear understanding of our work, our values, and your career objectives.
Required Materials:
Cover letter explaining why this role aligns with your goals
