The Position:
Our Summer Law Clerks will have the opportunity to rotate working with several of our legal teams (both practice groups and legal services) throughout the summer. This is in an effort to provide extensive networking opportunities, gain practical experience working on various immigration applications, and illustrate a more holistic view on the practice of immigration law.
Our program will span from mid-May 2026 to mid-August 2026. The program will be full-time, 9am-5pm Est, Monday-Friday (40 hours per week), and will be required to work on-site with rotations split between our Troy and Ann Arbor, Michigan offices.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Shadow EP Attorneys and Case Managers to learn and document internal legal processes to identify opportunities for process improvements in a rapidly growing firm.
Support both our immigrant and nonimmigrant visa practice groups in drafting, researching, compiling, printing, copying, and scanning immigration applications.
Receive and organize case-related government correspondence into EP systems, as well as update various systems with client/application information.
Learn how to operate various legal systems used firm-wide for immigration applications.
Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Program Requirements:
Must be a current 2L (Rising 3L).
Must have a 3.0 GPA or higher.
Must be able to commute and work on-site daily in either our Troy or Ann Arbor, Michigan offices (rotational program is split between both offices throughout the summer).
