Attorney Lateral Process for Q1 move
Attorney Job 31 miles from Prosper
KCR is working with select associates to create a strategy to for a Q1 move to firms of the candidate's choice. You will review with KCR on-market positions and also discuss strategies to find or create “off-market” positions.
For select attorneys, off-market positions and marketing by KCR can help them get ahead of “posted position” processes where the applicant pool is ballooned by other applicants and search firms.
About KCR:
Our Founder is an ex-Kirkland and V&E attorney who has built a team of colleagues uniquely tied to a variety of big law firms and litigation boutiques. Our team consists of alums from a variety of firms, law schools, and clerkship programs.
Our team consists of only ethical recruiters and receives authorization before every engagement with any firm.
With KCR, you will receive at least two people on your Attorney Lateral Process who will listen to your pain points with your current firm and create a strategy about which firms to target and why.
Representative Reviews
Corporate Senior Associate Review
KCR helped me move from an AmLaw 50 firm to an AmLaw 15 firm and as a result of this move, I expect to make Partner in this next cycle. The KCR team really listened to my pain points with my current firm and worked with me to solve them accordingly. Having a team of former practitioners and current strategists was helpful. The position they found me was off-market, so the firm wasn't interviewing a lot of people. All in all, a great experience.
Corporate Midlevel Associate Review
I moved between peer firms but KCR helped me review the offer letter and as a result, I was able to get a 6-figure signing bonus in a market where none were being handed out. I worked with KCR for over a year and turned down a few offers. Overall, I trusted the KCR team and it paid off. They also helped me move between cities and negotiate my move details.
Midlevel Lit Boutique Placement Review
KCR helped me move from an NYC Vault 15 to a prominent Texas lit boutique and also advised my partner in her move from an NYC Vault 15 to a top Texas firm. I liked that they were strategists over generic recruiters, and we were able to use their proprietary data, intel, and contacts to better understand the scene in Texas (which is very different from NYC). They had jobs that other recruiters didn't have because they marketed us well. We used a lot of their data to come up with a strategy, and I'm happy we chose them.
