The annual base salary for this position is $165,000 to $195,000. Depending on billable hours, total compensation can range up to $207,000 for those at the lower end of the salary range, or up to to $245,000 at the higher end.

Beacon Hill's client, a national law firm, is seeking a contract litigation attorney for their San Jose, CA, office.
Duration: Ongoing, potentially 6+ months with the possibility of direct hire (Concurrent employment not permitted)
Hours: 40-hour workweeks
Qualifications:
Active California bar licensed in good standing
1+ year of experience in insurance defense and/or other defense-side litigation attorney experience.
Duties (including but not limited to):
Drafting discovery, preparing expert disclosures, and covering simple depositions.
Legal research, briefing, procedure, and advocacy.
This position would potentially involve supporting a partner in trying cases in front of a jury, when possible.
