How you'll contribute The Physical Therapist is responsible for evaluating patients and implementing medically prescribed physical therapy treatment plans tailored to individual needs. The therapist conducts comprehensive assessments, establishes appropriate goals, and develops personalized interventions to restore function, reduce pain, prevent disability, and promote mobility. Treatments may include therapeutic exercises, manual techniques, and the use of physical agents and assistive devices. The Physical Therapist educates patients on injury prevention, ergonomics, and rehabilitation strategies, while also supervising and delegating tasks to physical therapy assistants, students, and support personnel in accordance with clinical and regulatory standards. Progress is continuously monitored and documented, with plans modified as needed to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
