General Summary
The Sales Associate will assist in the receiving, stocking, pricing of all merchandise and help maintain a clean and orderly merchandise presentation and overall store cleanliness.

Customer Service:

Perform regular inspections of plant systems to identify and resolve issues or escalate to maintenance/engineering teams.
Start up, shut down, and clean process equipment in accordance with SOPs and safety protocols.
Accurately record operating data, process changes, and shift reports.
Collect in-process samples and collaborate with quality control personnel to ensure product compliance.
Handle and transfer raw materials, intermediates, and finished products using proper procedures.
Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations following plant safety and emergency response protocols.
Support preventive maintenance activities and assist with equipment troubleshooting.
Work as part of a team to maintain 24/7 operations.
REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or GED required; Associate's degree and/or technical certifications preferred.
1-2+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility/production environment/plant operations is highly preferred.
Some exposure or experience working with chemicals is a plus, but can be trained for the right person.
Knowledge of chemical processes, equipment, and safety standards (OSHA, PSM, environmental compliance).
Ability to read and interpret SOPs, batch sheets, and Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
Mechanical aptitude with exposure to vacuum pumps, valves, control panels, and instrumentation.

Required Skills/Abilities

Selects torch, torch tip, filler ford and flux, according to welding chart specifications or type and thickness of material.
Tacks assemblies together.
Chips off excess weld, slag, and spatter.
Cleans or de-greases parts.
Move parts in and moves finished product out of welding area.
Job Requirements:
A qualified candidate will have a high school diploma, GED, or at least 1-3 months related experience.
Must have basic language and math skills and reasoning ability.
