**Job Summary**
TheRFID Lab at Auburn University is looking for motivated, hard-working, and detail-oriented students from various disciplines to perform RFID in-store testing and audits. This position will primarily involve fieldwork at local partner locations. Fieldwork includes activities such as:RFID tag audits, barcode audits,RFID cycle counts.
**Essential Functions**
· The student will perform data collection tests to investigate the performance of large-scale RFID deployments.
· The team responsibilities include RFID tagging items in a retail environment and then doing tests with aRFID reader to determine the quality and readability of the tags.
· Students will also be performing in-store barcode/inventory audits.
· Students may occasionally participate in in-lab demonstrations and testing
· Students may occasionally travel to partner locations outside of the Auburn/Opelika area

Essential Functions
* Sign up for on-call shifts for weeknights, weekends, and holidays for small animal after hours emergency surgery cases

* Gown and glove in surgeons, house officers, and veterinary students for surgery

Placing out feed for animals assigned to milking string following the milking procedures. Bring animals in from pastures, following SOPs to ensure hygiene standards are met, ensure that all animals in the milking string are healthy with no signs of systemic illness. Ensure that the milking parlor is cleaned, and animals are returned to proper pasture prior to leaving facilities. Responsibilities also include feeding of replacement heifers, birth to weaning and any bull/steer calves that are being raised in the hutch pen. Employees may be assigned to feeding all non-equine animals that make up the teaching herds of the Large Animal Teaching Hospital. Assist with the daily care of all non-equine species that make up the teaching herds.
**PM shift** starts at 2:30 PM and ends around 6:30 PM. The responsibilities include but are not limited to, setting up milking system, insuring equipment has been properly cleaned from prior shift. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
* Student must be receiving Federal Student Aid (Title IV) funding
* Student must have satisfied all verification requirements related to the receipt of Federal Student Aid (Title IV) funding
* Applicants must be enrolled as a Drake State student taking at least six (6) hours semester to be employed
* If not a first time student, applicant must have a GPA of 2.00 or higher
* Selected students must be meeting and maintain satisfactory academic progress as outlined in the college catalog
