Started up in 1962, Audio-Technica is a group of innovative thinkers in the audio industry, dedicated to designing, manufacturing, promoting, and re-defining revolutionary sound hardware.
In 1962, Matsushita founded Audio-Technica with the vision of producing high-quality audio for everyone.
The headquarters and factory moved in 1965 to the current address in Naruse, Machida, Tokyo.
