We are hiring a Visual Coordinator at our corporate office in Birmingham, AL! The Visual Coordinator creates and implements visual displays of merchandise and aids in the design of in-store visual direction that brings merchandising brand to life for our Hibbett stores. The Visual Coordinator assists in the administration of any visual merchandising training for stores and tracks sales and trends related to Hibbett stores.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

* Collaborate in the creation of visual sets (directives) for stores.

* Complete monthly directives in stores.

* Travel to stores to conduct training and assist in merchandising needs.

* Travel to assist in visual set ups for relocations and new store designs.

* Meet with buyers and the visual merchandising team on visual direction to the field.

* Implement and collect photo representation of visual standards in-store to be used for training and development.

* Protects the company's assets and financial information by ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of internal control procedures and informing management and/or appropriate officials of potential fraud risk.

* Travel to stores up to 40% of time.

QUALIFICATIONS

* 2 or more years of experience in visual merchandising/marketing.

* Experience working for a retail company, specifically athletic apparel and footwear.

* Experience with Microsoft Office 365.

* Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus.

* Experience with CAD programs a plus.

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.

About the Role:

The Audio Visual Coordinator II , reporting to the Hospitality Services Manager in Real Estate Services, is responsible for supporting the demand for high-quality AV production services. As presentation technology becomes more sophisticated, the Bank needs skilled personnel who are knowledgeable about a variety of presentation hardware and software and the emerging technologies being used. You are responsible for audio-visual functions of the Conference Center as described below. You will lead the coordination and execution of AV needs of both internal and external events. You will ensure a consistent, high level of service throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases for all events. The Audio-Visual Coordinator II will exhibit exemplary customer service skills and the ability to respond to technology glitches quickly and stay composed under pressure. Ability to work with staff at all levels of the organization, external guests, and dignitaries.

You Will:

  • Provide and operate audiovisual equipment for internal and external customers to support meetings, conferences, seminars, or other events that require A/V services.
  • Instruct bank employees in the use of equipment; Troubleshoot A/V issues that may arise and Bank`s TV system and museum exhibit.
  • Maintain equipment, perform minor repairs and emergency workarounds, keep maintenance logs and work with other departments to coordinate repairs by outside vendor.
  • Consult with stakeholders on the purchase of new equipment.
  • Collaborate with Bank`s other technology owners in various business lines.
  • Support bank leadership and strategies for AV master plans and projects.
  • Perform advanced production of audiovisual materials including filming, editing, and duplicating video and audio files.
  • Support on-site teams to ensure all events run smoothly.

You Have:

  • Associate degree in Arts and Technology, video audio production, Radio, Television and Film, or other digital media program, preferred.
  • AVIXA Certified Technology Specialist certification preferred; required within three years of employment.
  • Certifications in the following preferred: AVIXA CTS, Biamp Tesira Certification, Crestron Technician Certification.
  • 3 years of related work experience in audiovisual support for large professional groups.
  • Demonstrated experience in the operation and maintenance of contemporary audiovisual systems.
  • Good multi-tasking, organizational, interpersonal, communications, writing, customer service, and computer skills.
  • Must work effectively with minimal supervision.
  • Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements.
