JOB DESCRIPTION: Audio/Visual Technician DEPARTMENT: Technology - Audio/Visual LOCATION: Primarily stationed at Lake Terrace Convention Center; but work requires travel to all Hattiesburg Convention Commission facilities. These include the Saenger Theater, African American Military History Museum, Eureka School Museum, and the Hattiesburg Zoo. Travel may be also required to conferences and seminars. The Audio/Visual (A/V) Technician provides these services for special events, meetings and conventions, and instructs others in these tasks. The A/V Specialist also creates lighting and décor designs for special events. Summary/Objective: The Level 2 Senior AV Technician(s) will be an AV expert with experience in installation on large and complex projects. The L2 Senior AV Technician(s) will be responsible for installing and validating systems, and reporting progress to Project manager.
