Evaluates and treats all patients referred for audiology treatments. Assists patients to obtain maximum performance and function in society within the constraints of their disability. Provides information related to departmental budget, considerations in relationship to audiology needs for optimum patient care and service. Performance of technical skills related to Audiology. Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and related impact on rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment. Language Skills Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred. Excellent interpersonal skills. Documents diagnostic findings and generate timely reports to physician and others as requested by patient. Skills Knowledge of equipment utilized in the diagnosis, evaluations and treatment of hearing disorders. Must be able to determine age-appropriate patient procedures and evaluate results.
