Who We Are Looking for/What You Will Do
As Senior Commercial Counsel at AuditBoard, you will be an integral member of AuditBoard's expanding legal team and will primarily be responsible for the Eastern Region of the US, focused on Enterprise and Strategic deals, and will support two to three Area Directors and their teams. About the Role
We are looking for a Technical Writer to temporarily help create and enhance our documentation within the Customer Advisory Services team at AuditBoard. The ideal candidate will have a passion for technology and a proven track record of creating clear, concise, and engaging technical documentation.

Why This Role is Exciting
As a Business Apps Engineer, you'll architect and scale an enterprise automation ecosystem that pairs process workflows with emerging AI technology to transform how the business operates. Who We Are Looking For
We are looking for a professional in the information security or cybersecurity industry to fulfill the Product Solutions Manager (ITRC) role. This position requires a strong background in any of the following areas: achieving and maintaining compliance with regulations (e.g., HIPAA, FISMA, FERPA) and/or industry-leading practices (e.g., PCI-DSS, ISO 27001/2, NIST CSF, NIST 800-53), and enterprise risk management.
The Manager of Product Solutions (ITRC) will be a product expert in the AuditBoard platform and shall be able to comprehend a client's compliance/risk/InfoSec environment and convey a high-value proposition. This position will facilitate product demonstrations, answer product questions, and consult clients on industry best practices as they learn about AuditBoard. Internally, the Manager of Product Solutions (ITRC) will partner closely with various departments, including business development, implementation, and engineering to deliver solutions to clients.
This position is remote and can be based out of all West Coast, Central and East Coast major U.S. metropolitan cities.
Responsibilities:
Meet or exceed annual sales targets
Ability to understand prospective customer requirements and compliance use cases and translate into product demonstrations that resonate with the prospect
Engage with C-level prospects to position AuditBoard's strategic value proposition and drive business development opportunities to closure
Present a compelling demonstration of the AuditBoard IT risk and compliance (ITRC) solutions to prospective customers
Tailor every ITRC demonstration based on the client's environment, needs, and use cases
Mentor and cross-train internal resources and develop team members' skills and expertise
Provide proactive, trusted thought leadership to target accounts
Serve as a feedback loop with the Product, Engineering, and Design (PED) team on features updates and product enhancements for the suite of AuditBoard products
Attend networking events and conferences to build relationships that will create new business opportunities
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
CISA, CISM, CISSP, Security+ preferred.
4+ years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, IT audit, or associated field
Strong knowledge of information security frameworks and industry standards, such as ISO/IEC 27000 series, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF, PCI-DSS, SOC2, among others a must.
Able to commit to 25-30% travel within region
Experience in the adoption of compliance frameworks or performing compliance certifications or audits is preferred
Excellent problem-solving, presentation and decision-making skills.
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Successfully demonstrated experience managing and working with internal cross-functional teams and product engineering groups preferred
Successfully demonstrated experience communicating and reporting to Senior leadership
Sales experience is NOT required
Ability to flourish in high growth and fast-paced tech environment
Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services and position them against competitors
Great at building relationships and working within a team selling environment

Key Responsibilities
As a Commercial Account Executive, you will be responsible for selling AuditBoard products to both large publicly traded and private organizations.
* Execute full-cycle sales including territory planning, pipeline generation, and progressing sales opportunities to close - we are in search of dynamic and ambitious sales achievers who can build a viable pipeline - this role has a 90% net new business target.
* Exceed annual sales targets of >$1M
* Expanding new business opportunities in existing + new customer accounts within your assigned territory to meet and/or exceed quarterly/annual quota with 10% of your focus on expansion selling
* Collaborate with CCOs, CAOs, CFOs, CIOs, CTOs, EVPs, and SVPs to develop tailored solutions that meet their specific needs.
* Identify prospective customer's pain points, educate them on AuditBoard's value, highlight our differentiators, effectively demo the product via video conference / onsite, and guide prospects through the sales process with 25%-30% travel, including client and partner meetings as well as events and conferences.
* Co-create a solution and business case to enable stakeholders across the business to advocate for and adopt Auditboard into their organization.
* Work closely with SDRs/BDRs and Product Solutions to achieve sales goals and partner with the Implementation and Customer Success teams to support and set customer expectations.
* Develop and implement sales strategies aligned to goals and targets by leveraging MEDDICC sales methodology.
* Collaborate with channel partners to tackle strategic opportunities.
Attributes for a Successful Candidate
* 5-7+ years of SaaS sales experience selling enterprise, B2B solutions (steady and progressive tenure in career, ideally 3 years in one company) OR Senior Manager or higher in a Risk Advisory practice (i.e. risk management, internal audit) of a Big4 firm or mid-tier firm
* Proficient in using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC with a consistent track record of exceeding quarterly and annual quotas that reach above $1-1.2M; Deal sizes and sales cycle experience align with the segment.
* Strong executive presence

* Ability to negotiate pricing with a focus on retaining value

As Senior Commercial Counsel at AuditBoard, you will be an integral member of AuditBoard's expanding legal team and will primarily be responsible for the Eastern Region of the US, focused on Enterprise and Strategic deals, and will support two to three Area Directors and their teams.
