Augusta Technical College (ATC) offers comprehensive vocational training and certification as well as extensive student support services. Located in Augusta, Georgia, with several campuses throughout the region, ATC offers numerous diplomas, certificates and associate's degrees within the health, business, industrial, personal services, information, and engineering technology fields. Distance learning and online courses are available in addition to traditional on-site classes. Augusta Technical College also has continuing education options in GED preparation, English language skills, family literacy and workplace literacy. These classes are offered during the day, afternoon and evening at numerous ATC locations. ATC's abundant offerings extend to its student services divisions as well. The counseling center offers standard academic and career counseling. They also provide special needs and disability counseling and special populations counseling for students who are dealing with such issues as single parenting or pursuing a non-traditional career path. All of the counseling center services are free of charge. Working in collaboration with the counseling center is the wellness center, which offers free seminars in health-related topics such as managing stress, smoking cessation and safety concerns. Some of the financial aid options available to eligible students at ATC include loans and grants.
