The Pre-clerkship Module Director is the administrative leader for the education module. The Pre-clerkship Module Director role will report to the Campus Assistant Dean for Pre-Clerkship for the AU/MCG-GS Savannah Partnership. The Medical College of Georgia's basic science and clinical departments are the academic units of medical educator faculty. Faculty members creatively and innovatively advance the educational mission the MCG MD program. Each medical educator is expected to contribute to educational research, faculty development, or both. Ideally, each educator faculty will have some interdisciplinary educational focus, and all will contribute directly to key aspects of MD curriculum delivery. This position is not considered to be on tenure track.
Responsibilities
Pre-Clerkship Curriculum Design - Create module schedules by contacting faculty to present foundational and/or clinical science material to medical students. Collaborate with faculty to develop learning objectives and develop syllabi. Collaborate with administrative staff to post pertinent information on the learning management system. Map lecture learning objectives to the MCG Competency-based Objectives.
Pre-Clerkship Curriculum Administration - Work with Assistant Deans for Curriculum and component directors to evaluate module and module faculty and make recommendations and implement changes that reduce unplanned redundancy, improve overall module organization, content, and sequencing, for the following year. Attend all classroom activities and ensure technology is ready for speakers in collaboration with IT. Communicate with class concerning module information, information regarding quizzes and exams, etc. Review evaluative data of faculty, module, and module director once finalized.
Pre-Clerkship Teaching- Teach pre-clerkship curriculum in applicable field, in the Medical College of Georgia. Participate on various committees and

Educational Requirements
An MD, DO, PhD, MD/PhD, PharmD or equivalent from an accredited college or university.
Board certification for physicians.
Proven experience in medical education or other health sciences-related educational programs.
Evidence of ability as an educator.
Assistant Professor- Early level career as a faculty member with appropriate post graduate training.

This position is fiscal year based and works year-round. Amount of time worked is based on work commitment.
The intended work commitment or full-time equivalent (FTE) for this position is between 0.75 and 0.99 FTE. The FTE will be determined at the time of hire after discussions during the interview process with the successful candidate. Although this position is fully benefits eligible and can select from the robust University System of Georgia (USG) benefits package, this position is not considered full-time. Only positions at 1.0 FTE are considered full-time.
Assistant Professor- Salary and compensation is commensurate with education, experience, and achievements. The salary is subject to availability of funds.

The Medical College of Georgia (MCG) is one of the nation's largest medical schools by class size, with 304 students per class. The position performs advanced administrative and technical work support of clinical research trials. Manages several large, multi-center, investigator-Initiated, federal, and Industry sponsored clinical trial.
Responsibilities
The responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Cell Culture & Clinical Trial Research Protocols
Prepares new clinical trial research protocols for IRB submissions, in compliance with all applicable regulations and policies of FDA, DHHS, ICH, state of Georgia, AU and AUMC. Coordinates activities with respective campus departments to ensure successful study execution.
Regulatory Activities
Performs regulatory activities associated with the ongoing management of current clinical research protocols, including but not limited to, protocol amendments, financial disclosure, protocol deviations, protocol departures, adverse events.
Uploading
Responsible for uploading regulatory documents into OnCore and IRBNet. Provides regulatory support to cancer center clinical investigators and clinical staff. Acts as a liaison between clinical trial sponsors (or contract research organization), clinical investigators, and IRB, and coordinates efforts towards the start-up and ongoing conduction of a clinical trial until close out of study.
Training Schedule
Creates and maintains training schedule for Cancer Center research faculty and staff related to research compliance best practices. Assist with finding and distributing continuing education requirement opportunities. Performs quality control regulatory inspections of cancer center clinical trials to ensure regulatory compliance.

Job Summary
The Military Science Department at the University of North Georgia is seeking applications for a part-time faculty position in the Military Science Department beginning August 2025. The National Service Leadership Track is an academic program in the Corps of Cadets that provides leadership development, resume-building, career exploration, and job opportunities for non-commissioning Cadets at the University of North Georgia. NSLT courses are designed to prepare Cadets for leadership roles in government, global entities, non-profit, and the corporate environment.

Responsibilities
* The part-time faculty member will instruct a junior level course in the National Service Leadership Track (NSLT).
* Duties involve classroom instruction of one or two 3-hour courses per fall and spring semester of leadership development, office hours on campus, and counseling of Cadets on administrative actions.

Working in the adult Crisis Services Diagnostic Outpatient Center (CSDC), the Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is responsible for evaluating, diagnosing, and treating individuals with speech, language, voice, fluency, and swallowing disorders. Qualifications:

Responsibilities
* Assist with the daily operation of the two Dahlonega testing centers while adhering to the standards of operation required by National Testing Agencies and Prometric, adherring to strict test security and a variety of test adminstration procedures. Respond to all testing related inquiries by the Coordinator of Testing, outside agencies, and Prometric; serves as a primary University and Prometric TCA. Schedule testing appointments requested by phone, in-person, and e-mail; record scores into BANNER and other programs; report scores to the assigned departments; assist with the development of testing schedules. Prepare computers and assist candidates from check-in to check-out.
* Maintain a working knowledge of University and Prometric testing programs; maintain certification with testing clients as required; and maintain current knowledge of non-compete and confidentiality requirements. Provide professional and friendly answers to questions from callers and visitors related to a variety of Prometric and UNG tests and testing policies; ensure security of test materials; verify identity of testing candidates; and maintain inventory of test materials and exhibits.
* Communicates with the Coordinator of Testing regarding IT related issues and Prometric tech support to ensure that all technology and computer related needs are kept current to prevent any interruption in the delivery of exams; communicate with Prometric District Manager, Territory Operations Manager, and UNG Coordinator of Testing, as needed, to ensure that the needs of the Testing Centers are met; and maintain an effective working relationship with examinees, professional associates, and colleagues.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Preferred knowledge of standard professional proctoring duties and office practices, procedures, systems and equipment. Must be able to obtain and retain knowledge of ADA and FERPA guidelines as they relate to individuals served through the UNG Test Center and Prometric Test Center. Working knowledge of most computer office software, including BANNER, Windows, Microsoft Office - Word and Excel. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent customer service and interpersonal skills; outstanding organizational and time management skills, excellent problem-solving skills; and superb phone etiquette. Must have ability to stay focused and detail oriented under surveillance.
* Work performance is monitored & evaluated by external clients/vendors by way of audio and video surveillance and "secret shoppers" posing as testing candidates. Failure to maintain contractual requirements could result in financial loss to the institution or termination of testing client contracts. Must maintain a professional demeanor when dealing with customers from varied industries to include academic, corporate, government, financial, healthcare, and information technology. Must be available to work extended days, evenings, and weekends.
* Must have ability to organize and prioritize work requests to complete tasks in a timely manner with minimal supervision. Must be able to complete concurrent or multiple tasks independently and creatively in a timely manner and under pressure of deadlines; work well with people from different racial, cultural and other backgrounds, and possess a strong commitment to the mission of the University. Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is accepting applications for a Part-Time Field and Clinical Placement Coordinator. This part-time 12-month position works closely with the College of Education's Associate Dean of Student Support Services, the Director of Field and Clinical Placements, and the Department Heads to train, supervise, mentor, and assist field and clinical supervisors with their daily responsibilities. This position will assist the Director of Field Placement and Department Heads in identifying potential supervisors through the application process and will collaborate and meet regularly with the Field Placement Director and Department Heads. The position will include assisting with coaching clinical (part-time) supervisors during the year and with facilitating the annual supervisor orientation. Additionally, the position will assist with the placement process for students. As part of the job duties, this position will allow for 2 temporary loads of supervision due to generated by staffing changes or College needs.

Responsibilities
* Summer semester responsibilities include the following: prepare for annual supervisor orientation; update field placement manual for part-time supervisors and mentor teachers; work with the Field Placement Director to transition newly hired part-time supervisors into their roles; assist with submission of placement requests and maintain field and clinical records.
* Fall semester/Spring semester- Help plan and coordinate for annual supervisor orientation; help plan and facilitate "Supervisor Monthly Meetings"; collaborate with department heads and COE departments monthly to gather updates; assist in completing 30-day, 90-day and 6-month progress reviews on newly hired part-time supervisors, assist with COE committee action items for field and clinical placements
* Fall and Spring semester - Provide guidance and maintain communication between part-time supervisors with regard to COE data and learning management systems; Consistently maintain part-time supervisor information in D2L, including individual supervisor field placement course shells per Department Head instructions.
* Assist with student placement requests, data management, and data collection relative to student placements. Collect insurance, track hours needed for perquisite EDUC courses and maintain records with students and community members accordingly.
* All semesters - Support supervisors in building relationships with P-12 school partners; maintaining ongoing contact with supervisors; providing supervisors with support in meeting field and clinical placement expectations; assisting with the annual COE Teacher Job Fair.
* Other duties as assigned, including during instances of unforeseeable and necessary changes with part-time supervision, assume the responsibility of supervision until situation is resolved; Supervision includes a minimum of an introductory meeting, three documented observations, and an exit interview each semester. This also includes submission of all grading requirements such as key assessments each semester and following guidelines listed in the syllabi for clinical courses, including assessment grading in data and learning management systems and other duties assigned.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities
* Knowledge in theories and practices in teacher education; of current certification requirements for teaching (i.e., GACE, GaPSC standards)
* Knowledge of learning management systems
* Good interpersonal and communication skills.
