Director, Product Marketing Mobility and OTR
WEX 4.8
Remote job
WEX is on a mission to simplify the business of running a business-through smarter workflows and financial intelligence. Our North America Mobility and OTR (over the road) lines power the fleets that keep commerce moving. As Director of Product Marketing, you'll lead the team that turns complexity into clarity across a high-impact portfolio spanning fuel, EV, and telematics solutions.
About The Role
This role blends strategic thinking with frontline execution. You'll own go-to-market strategy, sharpen our positioning, and equip our sales teams to win. Just as critically, you'll build and lead a high-performing PMM team that thrives on insight, iteration, and accountability.
What You'll Do
Lead GTM strategy for our fuel card, EV, and telematics offerings-owning everything from positioning and packaging to launch and lifecycle execution.
Build and lead a team of product marketers focused on differentiated messaging, customer insight, and sales enablement excellence.
Define segment-specific value propositions using customer research, data, and validation loops to make our story land and stick.
Equip sales teams to win-developing talk tracks, competitive plays, objection-handling strategies, and high-impact enablement assets.
Own market intelligence and competitive positioning-tracking shifts in buyer behavior, emerging threats, and whitespace opportunities.
Partner cross-functionally with product, sales, marketing, and CX to align GTM strategy with product delivery and revenue goals.
What You Bring
10+ years in B2B Product Marketing (not brand or demand gen), ideally with SaaS, fintech, or workflow-driven platforms.
Experience in transportation, fleet, or mobility a strong plus.
Proven track record of leading high-performing PMM teams and developing PMMs into trusted cross-functional leaders.
Obsessed with insight-driven marketing-you use customer research, usage data, and sales feedback to shape your GTM approach.
Deep understanding of the sales motion-you've helped close deals, refine sales stages, and improve pipeline velocity.
Experience leveraging AI and automation tools for segmentation, messaging, or enablement workflows.
Strategic thinker who can zoom out to set direction-then zoom in to write the positioning doc or rework the deck.
Analytical, scrappy, and proactive. You make decisions with data, challenge assumptions, and test fast to learn faster.
