Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for an evening shift assignment requiring ARRT, BLS, and Level 1 Trauma and EPIC experience.
Responsibilities
Position is in a hospital cat scanner department
Adult Level 1 Trauma patient population
Evening shift from 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM, five days per week
Procedures include CT angiography, 3D, MIPS, vessel analysis, volume rendering, and MPRs
Use of EPIC EMR and PACS systems is required
Must be able to perform IV starts for contrast administration
Duties include proper patient positioning, optimal scan technique, radiation safety, and post-processing using reconstruction software
Operate support equipment including independent workstation and pressure injector
Document patient history, charge data, allergic reactions, and follow departmental workflow for scanning and data management
Prepare patients for exams, monitor condition, and consult with radiologists as needed
Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13 week contract
Dress code and scrub requirements are per hospital policy
Travel partners are not accepted
A break in service of 6 months required after 1 year of continuous assignment before returning
Requirements
Certificate of completion from a Radiologic Technology Program or college diploma in a related field
Licensed Radiologic Technologist - Radiography (IEMA) required if applicable
BLS certification (AHA) required
Registered in Radiography (R) with ARRT required
Registered in CT (ARRT) or Certified Nerve Conduction Technologist (CNCT)
Minimum 1 year of relevant CT experience
EPIC charting experience required
Level 1 Trauma experience required
Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no local candidates)

RNs may float to other pediatric units and mom/baby units, excluding ICUs and chemo patients unless qualified
Charge RN and pediatric crisis RN available 24/7 for support, with administrative supervisor oversight
Patient care techs (PCTs) on the unit with a 1:8-10 ratio
Hospitalist coverage in-house until midnight and 24/7 resident coverage is provided

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Pediatric Acute care position in a Level 1 trauma setting, requiring an active IL license and pediatric BLS and PALS certifications.
Responsibilities
Work in an acute care pediatric unit within a hospital setting
Unit shares space with Pediatric Hematology/Oncology, 22 beds for acute peds, 10 for hem/onc, with ability to expand depending on census
Patient population includes medical and surgical pediatric cases such as hyperbilirubinemia, neuro, diabetes, failure to thrive, cystic fibrosis, COVID, and orthopedic patients
Nurse to patient ratio is 1:4
RNs work 12-hour shifts, either 7:00am-7:30pm or 7:00pm-7:30am
Every other weekend required (Sat/Sun for days, Fri/Sat for nights)
Use of heated high flow and Bipap respiratory equipment with specific parameters
Epic EMR is used; experience preferred
Floating required within the children's hospital to other pediatric units, may float to mom/baby for infant assignments, but not ICUs or chemo patients
No mandatory call or standby requirements
Support from a charge RN, pediatric crisis RN, and administrative supervisor available 24/7
PCTs assist with a ratio of 1:8-10 and provide additional support
Monitored patients are overseen by monitor techs for telemetry; RN does not need to interpret strips
Hospitalists in house until midnight and 24/7 resident physician coverage provided
Orientation consists of 2 shifts and may be extended based on need with management approval
Holiday coverage required unless otherwise arranged during interview
Scrubs must be pediatric-appropriate with any color or pattern for tops and solid color for pants
No COVID vaccine requirement for employment
Local candidates within 50 miles considered at local rates
Requirements
Active IL RN license required at time of consideration
Minimum of 2 years recent pediatric nursing experience
Current BLS (AHA) and PALS (AHA) certifications required
Experience with acute pediatric patient care in a hospital setting
Ability to work both day and night 12-hour shifts and every other weekend
EMR experience with Epic preferred

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in an acute care setting with a Level II trauma designation, requiring an active IL RN license and expertise in L&D.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital Alternate Birthing Center within an acute care setting
Labor and Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum (LDRP) unit with 12 rooms and a Level II nursery
Handles labor (vaginal/c-section), postpartum, and nursery newborns
1:1 nurse to laboring patient and 1:3 couplet ratios following AWHONN guidelines
Utilizes Epic EMR and the Obix EFM system with Phillips fetal monitors
12-hour night shifts (7:00 pm-7:30 am), with every other weekend and alternating holiday coverage required
Floating hospital-wide may be required as part of a team nursing model
No call or standby requirements
Primary responsibilities include providing nursing care during labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn nursery care
Work alongside a dedicated charge RN (non-assigned), OB techs, and unit secretaries for support
Neonatology provider in-house 24/7; RT assists with setup for CPAP in Level II nursery
Structured orientation of 2-3 shifts provided for travelers based on experience
Travelers to wear hospital-provided scrubs
COVID-19 vaccination is not required
Local rates apply to candidates residing within 50 miles
Requirements
Active IL RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
Minimum 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience required
Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP - all must be current at time of consideration
Proficiency in L&D; preference for experience in all LDRP and nursery care areas
Experience with Epic EMR and EFM systems preferred

Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a skilled ICU RN with an active IL license, Level 1 trauma experience, and Epic EMR proficiency for a night shift assignment.
Responsibilities
Hospital ICU setting with a focus on critical care patients
Night shift schedule: 7:00 pm - 7:30 am, three 12-hour shifts per week
Assignment duration is 13 weeks
Unit requires experience with Level 1 trauma cases
Epic EMR system is used and proficiency with Epic is required
Responsible for comprehensive patient assessment, plan of care development, and care implementation for ICU patients
Maintain up-to-date, accurate patient documentation and modify care plans based on ongoing evaluations
Expected to support patient and employee safety, promptly address safety hazards, and communicate effectively with healthcare team members
RTO is not to exceed 7 total days per 13 week contract
No travel partner placements accepted for this assignment
Contingent workers may not be on assignment at this health system for more than one year and must take a 6-month break before returning
Scrub color or dress code will be specified prior to assignment start
Requirements
Active Illinois RN license, temporary license accepted
Minimum of one year relevant ICU nursing experience
Associate of Science in Nursing (ASN) required; BSN preferred
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association
Documented experience in Level 1 trauma settings
Experience with Epic EMR is required
Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility (no locals)
