Responsibilities
Work in a Level I trauma acute care hospital setting in the Cardiac Cath Lab
Handles 3 main beds with cases including interventional, EP, peripheral, cardiology, vascular, mitral clip, TAVR, and IABP
Schedule consists of three 12-hour day shifts (6:00 am - 6:30 pm), Monday through Friday, plus call responsibilities
Required to work 8-12 on-call shifts per month, with a 30-minute response time
Weekend requirement includes 4 weekend shifts per 4-week schedule
Rotating holiday coverage required
RNs circulate but do not scrub
Utilizes Cerner and Xper EMR, with Phillips and Siemens equipment
Floor-specific orientation provided for 2 days
Primary role involves circulating for cardiac and vascular procedures in the Cath Lab
Supported by a charge nurse and rad techs covering circulating and scrub duties
No IV team is present; pharmacy and respiratory therapy support are available 24/7
Scrub attire is provided by the facility
Testing requirements include pass/fail exams on dysrhythmia and sterile technique, with limited retake opportunities
Candidates must live at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for the travel rate
Requirements
Active AZ or compact RN license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
Minimum 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab RN experience required
Level I trauma experience required; busy Level II may be considered after screening
Current ACLS and BLS certifications required
Two professional references: one supervisor reference from the past 12 months and one supervisor or peer reference from the past 3 years
Must provide a copy of a valid driver's license
Candidates may not have been employed full, part-time, or PRN by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity facility in the past year
Must pass the Relias Dysrhythmia exam and sterile technique test prior to or during orientation

Handles interventional, electrophysiology (EP), peripheral vascular, cardiology, mitral clip, TAVR, and IABP cases
Three main labs with additional EP and hybrid rooms supporting both vascular and cardiac procedures
12-hour day shifts (6:00 am - 6:30 pm), Monday to Friday, with 3 shifts per week
Call required, 8 to 12 call shifts per month, with a 30-minute on-site response time
