American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 1 year of CT experience, current BLS, and ARRT certification for day shifts.
Responsibilities
Work in a hospital setting covering inpatient, outpatient, and ER cases
Manage a caseload of 50-60 cases per day distributed among three techs
Four to five techs scheduled per shift
Shifts are Monday through Friday, 6:15 AM to 1:30 PM
On-call requirement is two nights per month plus one weekend per 13-week contract
Use GE CT scanning equipment
Must be able to work independently
Pass/Fail EKG test required on first day with two attempts allowed; study guides provided
Team comprises four to five technologists per shift to support workflow
Must be able to gather, analyze, and verify data for complex, multi-step procedures
50-mile radius rule applies for candidates
Professional attire required as per departmental guidelines
Requirements
Current BLS certification required
Current ARRT(R) registration required; ARRT(CT) registration preferred
Minimum of 1 year CT experience required; 2 years radiology experience preferred
Virginia Radiology License required if applicable
Associate's degree in Radiologic Sciences required; advanced education in Radiology/CT preferred
Demonstrated proficiency in a broad range of technical and CT-specific skills

Job Description
American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a free-standing emergency department, requiring recent CT/Rad Tech experience and active licensure if applicable.
Responsibilities
Work in a free-standing emergency department CT/Rad unit
Day shift from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
13-week assignment
Duties include performing CT and radiology imaging in an emergency department setting
Team operates in a fast-paced environment
Candidates must provide complete documentation including application, references, and certifications as required
Requirements
Minimum of 6 months recent CT/Rad Tech experience within the past 6 months
Active license required if applicable
Relevant certifications such as AHA or ARC must be current and not expire within 30 days of start
No employment gaps of 90 days or more in the past 12 months
US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration
